  1. A Message For Everyone:

TCW vs. Rebels debates are not allowed in the Television forum. As in, discussions that descend into TCW/Rebels (or any show vs any other show) bashing/gushing will be subject to Mod action. Contrasting the themes, story lines, characters, etc. between the shows is allowed (welcomed, even). "Versus" debates/arguments, however, are a deal-breaker.

I couldn't think of a way to word why I didn't want him on my list, but that works. He just came off as too much of a whiner to be considered a bad-ass.

    1. Cad Bane(he just pulls everything off with style; he's like Han Solo if he were a bounty hunter)
    2. Savage Opress(this goes without saying)
    3. Mother Talzin(she hasn't killed anyone yet, but her whole presence reeks of badass that's just waiting to be unleashed; you can tell by the demonic voice and the conuring-objects-out-of-air power that she's badass)
    4. Pre Vizsla(I think it's his heartless execution of the grunt that made him badass; darksaber helped though)
    5. Embo(Star Wars equivalent of Captain America)
    6. Pong Krell(he's duel-weilding doublesaber Besalisk who's not all hunkydory with his men)
    7. Riff Tamson(he's practically the best homage villain we've gotten so far)
    8. Tarpals(I really loved his sacrifice; if I had watched Supply Lines, I may have replaced this guy with Ima-gun Di, but Tarpals last scene was done well)
    9. Hardcase(his masculine attitude and eagerness for a fight)
    10. King Katuunko(his last stand wasn't only badass but surprising which made it all the more badass because you never expected this guy to go out like that)

Lurker, you're making me regret keeping Tamson and Katuunko off my list. I considered but decided against both. I totally forgot King Katuunko's fighting till the death.

Hmm...."badass" is hard to define. In my mind, there is a strong element of elan or flair, along with being deadly.

    In no particular order:

    1. Mace Windu
    2. Zillo Beast
    3. Embo
    4. Dooku
    5. Cad Bane
    6. Aurra Sing
    7. Plo Koon
    8. Rex
    9. Mar Tuuk
    10. Cut

This thread ended when Monkey Lizard was mentioned.

Y'all failed to recognize the ultimate power of the almighty Darth Kowak.

When BANHAMMER 66 comes down on LACWAC, I will be the only one left alive.

THE THREADS WILL RUN RED WITH THE BLOOD OF THE NON-BELIEVERS [face_skull]

I totally need to write a ManOwaR styled song for those last two lines, H_J. It's dying to be done. Go listen to "Battle Hymn" or "March for Revenge" and you'll know what I mean.

    No order,

    Riff Tamson
    General Grievous (Sometimes)
Nute Gunray (For knocking out Commander Gree alone.)
    Commando Droid
    Mar Tuuk
    Cad Bane

That's all I can think of at the moment since I favor the bad guys.

One of those Manowar songs is about GG or Humble I think:

Build a fire a thousand miles away to light my long way home
I ride a comet My trail is long to stay/Silence is a heavy stone
I fight the world and take all they can give/There are times my heart hangs low
Born to walk against the wind Born to hear my name/No matter where I stand I'm alone

Stand and fight Live by your heart Always one more try I'm not afraid to die
Stand and fight Say what you feel Born with a heart of steel

Burn the bridge behind you Leave no retreat/There's only one way home
Those who laugh and crowd the path and cut each other's throats Will fall like melting snow
They'll watch us rise with fire in our eyes, They'll bow their heads, Their hearts will hang low
Then we'll laugh and they will kneel and know this heart of steel was too hard to break too hard to hold

Stand and fight Live by your heart Always one more try I'm not afraid to die
Stand and fight Say what you feel Born with a heart of steel

No no, that's definitely about GG. What do I have in common with GG anyway? I guess I'm coming off as one twisted individual. (Not that GG is - he's fairly well balanced actually.:p)

Also, Manowar is just as WRONG as YOUR OPINION. [face_skull]

    Sir, yes sir!

    I was born wearing pants!
    be prepared!
    I was born standing up!
    be prepared!
    don't be ashamed

I was born in Portland, Oregon!
    be prepared!
I was born with twenty bucks in my pocket!
    be prepared!
    don't be alarmed!
    we mean you no harm!
    be prepared!

    I was born already tall!

I was born wearing spats and a dickie!
    be prepared!

I find it very interesting that Krell, arguably the character that prompted the creation of this thread and who seemed from the first frame we saw of him to be nothing but a cheap embodiment of the term "badass", has not really done almost anything at all (let alone anything to earn him a spot in this top 10 list) after appearing in two episodes.
