I think Melkor (Morgoth) vs. Palpatine would be more fitting, Exiled. Both Vader and Sauron were "seduced" into darkness.

Kiki, I thought Sauron's armor was frightening! Like the ultimate Black Knight... *shiver* There is just something primally terrifying about a faceless enemy.

 

I undertsand what you mean Bithy .I was just thinking more along the lines of Sauron vs Palpatine. Vader vs Saurumon, Obiwan vs Gandalf. Yoda vs The Grinch.

 

I guess Darth Maul would go against the Nazgul King in these scenarios.

Jar Jar vs Sam would be another. What a display of incompetence that would be.

 

What!? Sam slew Shelob, if you've forgotten. Sam is a clever hobbit, and his only weakness is his size. I'd like to see Jar Jar Binks defeat a giant spider in combat. Yeah right.

 

You're forgetting Jar Jar's lucky streak though.
He took out several battle droids plus a couple of tanks

He still probably has more fighting skill than jar jar. He won everything buy pure dumb luck... with an emphasis on the dumb part. A more appropriate comparison would be jar jar versus Pip.

 

Ya, but in Obi's experience, there's no such thing as luck .
That means Jar Jar is actually a badass who's so skillfull, he hides it behind a charade of clumsiness!
