Full Series Top 5 Arcs

I must say that I finally managed to decide on which The Clone Wars arcs are my top five favorite.

1. Bad Batch arc from The Clone Wars Legacy
2. The Ryloth arc of Season One
3. The Geonosis arc of Season Two
4. The Utapau arc from The Clone Wars Legacy
5. The Cidatel arc of Season Three

 

Kamino, Geonosis..Jedi Crash..Ryloth (including Master Di)

Anything with Aayla. Why did we not see more of her??! TCW Aayla Secura was awesome.

 

Utapau and Bounty Hunter Obi (kind of)

Aaand that's it.


P.S.

I would've added Ani' and Padme's bank episodes, but it lacks San Hill and Across The Stars. So no thanks.

Where does one get the official arc title names from? Or do you guys just make them up as you post?

I like the Ryloth Rescue episodes, the episodes with the Dexter Jedi killing the clones, Ahsoka as a criminal episodes, the Hutt episodes, the Padme centric political episodes as well.

 

I think we just base the arc titles after the common theme of the arc.

 

What i do is think of something every episode in the arc revolves around, whether its the planet (geonosis,ryloth,umbara) a character (yoda,Ashoka fugitive) or an objective (the malevolence, season 5 droid arc).

Some other ones I really liked were the Jedi Crash arc, Ryloth, Geonosis, Mortis, The Citadel, the Zillo Beast, and Ahsoka's final arc. TCW was just filled with memorable episodes, and I'm not even sure I can narrow it down to just five. My list was pretty close and all the others I mentioned here I love nearly just as much, and there are probably some I'm forgetting.

 

Agreed, there was just so many amazing arcs and episodes that left amazed, usually with my mouth wide open.
I was almost angry that i didn't hear about this show earlier, i watched all episodes in like a week.

One of my top fives would be the Dagoyan Arc. Its a rather unusual arc, but personally in a good and enjoyable way. I like how the writers put two characters (Mace Windu, and Jar Jar Binks) that are most unlikely to be together in a situation, where Mace would eventually get along and even enjoy being with Jar Jar.
Another would be most episodes involving politics (senate, banking clan,...). I seem to enjoy politics in SW and it shows another aspect of the war.

Geonosis- outstanding battle and graphics work of art
Slaver - Anakin dealing with his inner issues of slavery.
Maul/Mandalore- Great lightsaber fight, Maul gets second chance to fight Jedi
Lost Jedi- Mystery of Sifo Dyas
Umbara- Living up to name, Clone Wars , clones fighting non droid aliens and clones.
Order 66 - plot of Sidious almost foiled
Honorable mention: Onderon- beginnings of the rebellion
Malevolence-Plo Koon! Awesome Seperatist ship
Ahsoka Fugitive- sad to see but exciting
Domino Squad- best clones ever?
Mortis- deep and mysterious

 

The series is so good it's hard to narrow it down to five. Here's 7 that stand out to me:

Umbara

Mauldalore
Nightsisters
Order 66

Ryloth and Citadel arcs would come in just below these.

 

1. Ahsoka Fugitive Arc
2. Geonosis Arc

The top two are well entrenched on my list.

I could easily think of a dozen arcs as candidates for 3-5, but it's hard to rank them. I'm holding out hope that Siege of Mandalore will be #3 at least so maybe I'll wait. Especially since it appears this thread has already survived for more than half a decade without my noticing it.
