ST Top 5 Favorite Moments from TFA!!

1. Millenium Falcon! The Falcon itself plus Finn and Rey's interaction sold it!
2. Rey's intro. She had me when she put on the pilot's helmet
3. Han's entrance.
4. Rey vs Kylo. So raw and messy.
5. LUKE.

 

1. Rey and Finn escaping from Jakku.
2. Han's death.
3. Finn and BB-8 giving a thumbs up to each other.
4. Rey and Finn vs. Kylo.
5. Kylo losing his temper for the first time.

It's really hard to make a top 5, because I loved everything about it.

 

In no particular order:

1. The Falcon flying again after 30 years!
2. Han's Death
3. Kylo losing his Sith on that control board (also the "The droid stole a ship?" line was great)
4. Snoke's first scene
5. Luke

 

1. Maz telling Rey no one is coming back for her.... such a powerful scene.
2. Poe going beastmode at the castle "That's one hell of a Pilot!"
3. Ren freezing the blaster bolt.
4. Starkiller base taking out Republic. This is what Alderan could have been (with better tech). We saw the First Order buildup to firing, then using the weapon. We were given the good guys POV watching in horror, Ren's POV, and the planet's POV moments before destruction.
5. Rey shutting off Falcon to position it so Finn could take out last Tie.

 

I've only seen this movie once, but I totally missed this line...where was it?

 

After Kylo finished having a tantrum after being notified that BB8 got away in "an old, white junky freighter" (or something to that effect) which was of course, the Millennium Falcon, Hux reiterates that BB8 got away in a freighter, to which Kylo responds, wryly, that "The droid stole a ship?" leading Hux to add that BB8 had help from Finn and "a girl" (Rey), making Kylo inquire who she was. IDK, my order of events may be off, as I too have only seen the movie once, but it was in that scene.

 

It's after the Falcon escapes Jakku scene. A subordinate tells Kylo that the droid they're looking for escaped in a freighter, and Kylo says:

"The droid...stole a freighter?"

This precedes his epic tantrum where he hacks up a computer terminal.

Not quite. The line comes before the tantrum, and Kylo is speaking to a subordinate, not Hux.

 

OMG LMAO I am super missed I missed that. That sounds hilarious.

 

It's the funniest line in the film, IMO. And so dryly delivered by Driver.

 

I'm seeing it again in IMAX on christmas, Im gonna watch for that one.

omg im so excited to see Ren suspend the blaster beam in mid air in 3D.

 

1. Kylo Ren's saber twirl and Force "freeze" on Rey in the forest on Takodana
2. Kylo Ren's baiting of Hux "They seem to excel at high treason!" (funny how he delivers the line)
3. Chewie's comedy growls (Chewbacca is awesome in TFA - I love the scene when he spots Han on the bridge with Kylo, he really projects a moment of panic)
4. "The garbage will have to do!" Yay - it's the Falcon!
5. Luke Skywalker (that scene will go down in Star Wars history as one of THE best, like the "I am your father" scene)

 

A few things i absolutely loved:

Kylo Ren stopping the Lazer Bolt
The Millenium Falcon crashing into everything, (and flying on its side) while Ray was working it out
BB8 - Loved him full stop. Great addition to the story
Kylo Ren throwing his helmet on the heat rocks lol
The reveal of Luke at the end

Oh and one more - Kylo's first entrance where he lights up his sword and slays Tekka .... The sound and visual effects were absolutely epic !!! He was Bad ass, like Vader !!!

In fact, the whole dialogue between Ren and Tekka was amazing

 

1. Luke's slow turn and reveal
2. The final sabre duel in the snow
3. The interrogation with Rey and Kylo
4. Rey and Fin Flying the Falcon
5. Kylo kills Han on the bridge

 

Hard to narrow it down to five, but in no particular order.
1. First appearance of The Falcon.
2. Luke
3. Rey v Ren
4. Rey getting frustrated at Finn's lack of tool knowledge.
5. "The Force doesn't work like that!" Lol.

Edit: Han's death is brilliantly done, but it's too harrowing to be a 'favourite'!

 

1) The Lightsaber fly-by (and the subsequent duel)
2) Falcon reveal, with the camera rotating just as our hero mention a "piece of junk"
3) Han/Ben confrontation : you see the outcome coming, but still feel there is hope ... then the sun goes dark.
4) Finn picking up the lightsaber, even though he knows he has no chance
5) Ren stopping a Blast mid-air (his only badass moment)

 

1. Rey playing with the fighter helmet, that was when I knew I'd love her character I think and the rest of the film didn't disappoint.
2. Han talking about the legends of the past
3. The duel between Kylo, Rey and even Finns part, however brief, was exciting.
4. Finn saying "because it's the right thing to do" and Poe's response "You need a pilot" - again it kind of proved to me the new cast were going to be likable and have good chemistry, plus the audience was in hysterics
5. That final scene, I didn't want to get up I just wanted to stay and watch episode VIII right then and there

Too much to include.

 

1. The Millennium Falcon's introduction and first flight was the stuff of absolute genius. Fabulous stuff and brought tears to my eyes. It will feature heavily in episodes VIII and IX, and Im sure we ill see its first introduction when Han wins it in the Solo spin-off movie.
2. Rey's first scene.
3. Rey's interrogation scene.
4. Poe and Finn's escape.
5. "I'm in charge Phasma, you got that, I'm in charge"

Far too many more to mention. I absolutely loved the movie. Each subsequent viewing throws up new favorite moments. Im watching it for the fourth time this afternoon. The only two things I did not like about the movie - and they are VERY minor - the tragically underused Captain Phasma, and the Rathtars - could have done better with those creatures.

3. Rey Pulling Luke's Lightsaber out of the Snow

2. The Luke scene at the end where she climbs the mountain
1. Rey getting the lightsaber from the snow. For me this scene cements how good of a movie this was. Everytime I saw the film this weekend that moment got cheers from the audience. That wasn't one of the nostalgia moments, it was a moment of pure movie magic and I think we all felt it.

 

1. The final scene of Luke and Rey (nothing can beat this)
2. Rey climbing in the downed Star Destroyer, surving the sand down, eating alone and wearing the X-Wing helmet (everything done very well)
3. The whole flashback
4. Poe and Kylo (who talks first...)
5. Han confronting Kylo (despite that it is a sad scene, it was well done)

 

I would like to talk about some of the funniest moments.

1. when kylo went all crazy for the 2nd time, the storm troopers were walking toward the room, seeing it, and non chalantly turned around and walked the other way.
2. When finn and han conversed about the fact he was in sanitation, han says "sanitation? we got the galaxy depending on us" finn says, "well, we'll use the force" and han (who never used the force by the way says in his own Harrison ford way "that's not how the force works" lmao
3. Han "does this thing have a trash compactor
4. BB8 thumbs up with the flame thing
5. Rey calling the falcon "garbage" I wanted to yell at her, she's the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy, it i'll make .5 past light speed
