    12 O'Clock High

    Hells Angels

    Shaaka Zulu

    The Longest Day

now my next fav, I have no idea what the title is but its a Korean film about 2 soliders standing guard on either side of border from N& S Korea and the friendship they create, its modern and since Korea is still in a state of war it counts I am thinking. But its one of the most incredible movies I have ever seen. Also, one line hit really well on what other countries think of the US.

There were 2 versions of the book produced...The first came out in 1930. The 2nd one was a made for TV version in 1979 starring Richard Thomas, Ernest Borgnine, Donald Pleasence and Ian Holm (Go Bilbo!)
