    Oh yea,
    You guys remember Red Dawn???
Not the greatest movie ever but I liked certain parts of it.
I was intrigued by the whole idea of what it would be like if the United States were occupied by enemy forces.

    My top 5 are:
    Gettysburg
    Black Hawk Down
    Kelly's Heroes
    Saving Private Ryan
    Full Metal Jacket

    followed closely by:
Band of Brothers (I think it fits as a movie)
    Braveheart
    Red Dawn
    Glory
    Big Red One
    Green Berets
Horatio Hornblower movies from A&E (great Napoleanic War stuff on the high seas)
Sharpe movies based on books by Bernard Cornwell(also Napoleanic War, but take place on land, great English war stuff, and Sean Bean(Boromir) is great as Richard Sharpe!)
    The Dirty Dozen
    Mister Roberts
    The Last of the Mohicans
    The Devil's Brigade

And, those war movies on a lighter note:
Father Goose (I'm with you Jess, great Cary Grant movie)
    Bedknobs and Broomsticks
    The Incredible Mr. Limpet
    No Time for Sergeants

Sorry, I didn't mean to ramble, but once I start thinking of movies I like, I can't stop. :D
