    OK! Random Top Fives! GO!

My Top 5 favorite vintage figures:

    5) Hoth Han Solo - it's all about the holster

    4) Yoda - the snake is genius, ESB wave 2 (spoiler free, unlike Boussh), and I still wonder what the silver thing on his belt is...

    3) Boba Fett - awesome detail, like the wrist rocket, only yesterday I realized Fett owes most of his mystique to the marketing of the action figure

    2) Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight - unique gun and saber, I tried the cloak on every single other figure and it rocks on 3P0

    1) Leia in combat poncho - 4 accessories! The helmet rules! Her gun fits in the belt holster! The poncho is amazing! Under the poncho she has her briefing room outfit on, it's like two figures in one!

If we're thinking of the same figure...the silver thing is the lamp that he and Artoo fought over in the swamp.

That is the same figure, but the silver thing is not the lamp, as it has that wide round piece around what might be the handle.

I would always make-believe that this was Yoda's saber, although it wasn't intended to be obviously identified as one... [face_thinking]

Favourite Five "mangles", differences between original edition and special edition which I love to hate:

The Sarlaac. (A mouth pod? What are the rings of teeth for?)

The ewok victory song. (Why would Coruscant celebrate the death of the Emperor so soon?)

"You're lucky you don't taste very good." ("You're lucky you got outta there." doesn't have the same ring to it.)

"It's okay, trust me." ("It's okay, I can see a lot better now." - see above.)

"Bring my shuttle." ("Notify my shuttle that blah blah blah." - see above.)

The silver thing has to be the lamp. Looking at the picture yoda has his finger wrapped around something below the base of the lamp. I always thought it was his saber when I was a kid.

This is one of my worst changes, the new line is brutal and the unnecessary added shots break up my favorite musical sequence in the whole saga...

Ever since I had the Falcon toy, I wanted a Corellian freighter of my own. Just like a big RV, hauling spice with my Wookie companion...that's the life.

TIEs are cool, but I would feel so vulnerable with no shielding.

You know what kids? I've never had anyone ask me for my 'top 5' stuff...especially pertaining to geekism and I'm just gonna let it all out.

    Top Five Figures -

    5) Slave Leia (POTF variation - she's in a bikini for cryin out loud!)
    4) Clone Commander (red variation)
    3) Boba Fett (vintage)
    2) Hawkman (Alex Ross figure from Justice comic series...very cool adjustable wing span)
    1) Republic Commando - Boss

    Top Five Ships -

    5) Klingon Bird of Prey (the electronic one from Playmates...awesome wing span)
    4) Tie Bomber
    3) Slave-1 (SOTE)
    2) Tie Interceptor (vintage)
    1) Imperial Shuttle (vintage and modern - not the lil weenie ones, but the BIG ones)

    Top Five Sci-Fi Movies -

    5) Star Trek Undiscovered Country
    4) Star Wars ESB
    3) Equilberium (sp? ah kant speel)
    2) V for Vendetta
