The guy is 70 years old and I just saw him at the Borgata in NJ and he still sounds great.

I like when Maverick does the Goose Kick to beat Ice Man.

 

I wonder if the band, Berlin, would want in on Top Gun 2, even though they blamed their part in being part of the soundtrack for the original film for the demise. I mean, it might help them launch one of those reunion tours.

I always thought the Harold Faltermeyer Top Gun theme would have been kind of awesomely incongruous during the love scene instead of "Take My Breath Away". Think about it, Maverick going in for his romantic move and BAH-NAH-NAH-DA-NAH-NAH-NAH-NAH-NAH.

Anyway, hopefully they realize that Top Gun is inherently a tad on the cheesy side (okay maybe more than a tad) and they don't try to Nu-Serious it too much.
