Top ten vaporware of 2002

    Heh, that's funny. But I know of a game that's been in development even longer. The game that was supposed to blow the original Quake and the original Unreal (which at the time, people thought was going to come out at the same time as Quake) out of the water: Prey.

    Personally, I'd prefer a new Shadow Warrior game than a Duke Nukem one. Lo Wang just cracks me up!

    Prey is old school, they stoped talking about it in 1997, its in one of the PCXL issues at the time saying it is pretty much dead.

    I figured Shadowbane would be on the list. There was a time when its graphics actually looked good, but now they're pretty subpar. I'm surprised Horizons wasn't on the list. In MMORPG circles, it's considered a prime example of vaporware.

    I snagged this quote off VE3D.

    On the vaporware list should be "the talents of people who do nothing but sit around and complain about the difficulties of those actually trying to accomplish something."
