    Does anyone know the title of the song from A New Hope, when Luke is standing at Tatooine with the 2 suns...

    There was a song during that part??

    I always thought it was score by Johnny Williams. (Binary Sunset.)

    But, then again, he was here already.

    OK, I can excuse getting confused and mixing up cues, tracks, score, etc. But don't call them songs. :)

    It depends how the rays bounce off the moisture vaporators

    AND THEY'RE NOT SONGS! THEY ARE 'TRACKS' OR 'CUES'

    That feels better :D

    Now write it out 100 times. And if it's not done by sunrise, I'll cut your...anyway

    I am officially confused...

    ...please don't call score "songs"...seriously, I thought for a moment there that I had been watching a different Star Wars edition, or something horrid like that, and that GL actually had singing banthas in there, or...you get the picture...

    8-}

    LISTEN TO HALIBUT! IT WILL MAKE LIFE SO MUCH EASIER....:)

    Remember when there was that huge rumor that Celine Dion had composed the love *song* for AOTC? Boy, that made for a busy day in this forum. :D

    No, the banthas were singing Oompa Loompa...

    No, wait. Nevermind, wrong film.

    2 suns = 2 rainbows (potentially)

    desert planet = no rain = mute point

    :p

    hehe... I most whole-heartedly agree. [face_devil]

    Hmmm...just a question. What does everyone (w/ the SE ANH CD) think of the alternate version of Binary Sunset (called Binary Sunset 2)? The difference between the two cues is enormous. I've always found it hard to imagine that particular scene otherwise(w/o the Force theme), so it has always been a point of amazement for me to realize that JW didn't originally see that scene progressing that way.

    (actually, on another note, I really like that alternate cue. I just don't know how it would have affected the overall emotional power of that scene...)

    As nice as the alternate version of Binary Sunset is, it would provide no strong emotional connections like the Force Theme does...

    What a great musical moment when Anakin goes to find his mother-- the Force Theme doesn't quite resolve but segues into DOTF!

    BTW, I wish the shot of Anakin on the bike with binary sunset could have lasted a few more seconds!! It's one of the great musical/visual scenes of the saga. :D

    "2 suns = 2 rainbows (potentially)

    desert planet = no rain = mute point
    "

    But with all the moisture being "vaporated", there'd be a lot of moisture in the air to make rainbows. ....Uh, at least I think so. :D

    I'm listening to "The Hampster Dance" song. How bad is that? :p

    Sithy--!!!!!! That's pathetic...not to say that the original Hamster page has been replaced by a commercialized, really dumb "Hamster Dance 2"... *shakes finger* You naughty, naughty, boy...

    8-}

    oh, and GK...I agree completely. Actually, my musical qualms with that particular AOTC scene were 1) that the Force theme is TOO SHORT and 2) that they stuck in that horrible mix of DOTF afterward(rather than Williams' original and perfect version on the CD) ...and, to add insult to injury, didn't make it NEARLY loud enough...all the emotion was wasted on the non-film-music enthusiasts :_| Will GL ever learn not to tamper with JW's scores? *sigh*

    Sithy, did you sleep through your science lesson on rainbows?

    There's a reason they are called rainbows, not moisture-bows or humidity-bows! :p

    I guess the question is "Does it ever rain on Tattooine?"
