Topps Freakin' stole our slogan man!

I say we steal the poster back from them cuz it's friggin' sweet.

I saw the new headline on TFN and thought someone crazy like Tim went and posted to TPTB about our surpassing Germany and we'd all be in trouble soon.

I was shocked to see that Topps had stolen our slogan and used it for a promotional poster for ROTS merchandise.

But the posters really cool, I saw we steal it (uh I mean borrow it for those DMCA inclined) slap our logo on it and use it this year, maybe to identify us at CIII.

Naw, that bit about us verbally 'huskin' GERMANY is supposed to be handled by our new, fearless leader once he recovers from his last postin' spree....FLOL! And yes, I was quite dismayed at them using our logo, too...we could of course challenge it in court, and probably FORCE them to use something else, but I doubt LFL would ever speak to us again.....point of fact, they'd probably ban us all fer life!!!! You know, though, we may be able to "persuade them to see our point of view" and let us do just what you suggested, ObiW!

 

HEY!!!!!!! That's OUR slogan!!!!! Those... those... *edit* *shakes fist*

 

all we have to do is call them and say how long we have been using the slogan and proof and I am sure they would much rather work out an arrangement then face possible litigation

Personally, I find the "Merchandising event of a lifetime" hilarious -- it's like they're not even going to try to hide the fact that they're going to flood the market with as much lame merchandise as they possibly can. LOL.
