Oh yes!! Got the radio times today, BBC2 wednesdays 9pm is the repeat time. Dont have to wait too long to see it ( i dont have bbc3)

The lair looks awsome as well, very gritty and dark. And they say it will be very sexy, gory and grimey. HELL YES!!!!!!!

Yeah, I flicked through that earlier. I was lead to believe that the Hub would be all slick and high-tech.

I like the gritty sewer look.

It's tricky to spot, but once you realise it just seems so obvious :p

The reason it's called "Torchwood" dates back to when the first episodes of the new series of Doctor Who were being transported from Cardiff to London. They were labled as "Torchwood" as a security measure, because if they were labeled as "Doctor Who" there was a larger chance someone might try nick them.

Russel T Davies liked the name so much he named the spin-off after it.

also the reason that captain jack is in cadif has something to do with the episode 'Boom Town'. that time when they stopped in cardif for energy for the tardis,... captain jack thinks he might return there soon for the same reason

Do you think we'll find out how Jack got from the space station in Earth's future to Cardiff around nowish?

Also from what I've read it seems like everyone snogs and possibly sleeps with everyone else in this show, even the aliens. What is this meant to be, sci-fi Sex In The City?

I thought it was good, we still don't fully know what happened to Jack after the battle with the Daleks which adds mystery. Also i liked the references to the Doctor, hope they do a cross over in season 3:)

When Jack says it all starts in the 21st Century i wonder if this is the thing which the face of Boe tells the Doc on the New Earth episode in season 2

I hope Boe is telling the Doctor that the Timelords have survived somehow like the Daleks or maybe Jack knows that some great evil may attack Earth e.g. the Daleks (which he might know from fighting them in the future which could lead it to be the black Dalek Sec which causes the 21st century threat after time shifting) or maybe its the Cybermen. But my two fav ideas are the Master and Davros which would be a whole can of bad[face_thinking]

I must say I quite enjoyed the first episodes, I will be watching this with some interest.

Has everyone worked out why the hands so valuable to Jack - (Think to the Christmas Special, and the Doctor losing some part of his body. I am guessing there is a connection here.)

I think with the hand Capt Jack cut it off to see what would happen. And as we can see it's all twitchy and alive in it's own sense.

I liked it. Some things I didn't see coming, some things I did. It felt like they were really trying to be all different and edgey to Doctor Who, but it was also so darned engaging.

Five minutes in I was like "Well we definately know this is different to Doctor Who, they just used the F-word"

I absolutely loved it and how they incorporated the crossover from Dr Who.

Im sure storylines and plots, etc will develop as things move on and some of them have already cleverly been incorporated, but as a taster I am hooked!
