Ok, who's watchin' it? To be honest...I hated Jack in Doctor Who. But I'm loving him in Torchwood. He just works for this type of show (higher parental rating).
Doctor Who "tie-in"... Anyone else realise that the hand in the jar (that got broken by the girl possessed by the sex mist) is most likely the Doctors hand that got cut off in last years Christmas special?
Most likely. What about the connection between Ianto and last year's Season finally with the battle with the Cybermen at Torchwood 1 in London?
oooh never even thought!! Jack already mentioned needing to find the right kind of Doctor... I am curious if we will ever hear about our trepid time lord...
Does the presense of this thread mean we have a small Doctor Who following in Canada? Or is this limited to just Captain Jack and the Torchwood crew?
Dunno what you mean... [image=http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a332/Primrodo/The%20Doctor/IMG_1825.jpg]
Small Doctor Who following? ... nah... Just http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gm3TtnrdA1k -> The Doctor Plus One http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqZKRjm5B1M ->> The doctor and rose hit up dragon*con http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WlJMrrUN28 ->> Happy "Who-laween" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPIX4BRUJOQ ->> Marilyn Monroe: DALEK HUNTER Just as a few short films.
Possible ?Theory?? Jack can?t die, or at least that is what it seams, right? Did Jack use the ?alien technology? (aka the theorized hand of the Doctor) to create a way to regenerate himself? Hummmmm
I think Jack is keeping the hand (that is if it is the Doctor's Hand) so he has a connection to the Doctor somehow. Growing his own Doctor Rose did make him unable to die. The whole Bad Wolf "I bring life" thing made it impossible for him to die. What I'm confussed about is stuff from the episode "Small Worlds". Now we know Jack is from the 51st century (originally). He went to WWII in London at the height of the Blitz for his scam (He was a time agent right?) He got left in the future by the Doctor and Rose. So why would he promise Estelle (the older woman from "Small Worlds") that they would be together til death, when he went to the blitz for a scam? Also when did he end up in 1909? (The scene when his men got killed by faries in a flashback. Rose Pedals.) It wouldn?t make sense for him to go back in time so early, would it? and lastly... how did he come from the future when Rose and the Doctor left him there, to the present? SOOO many questions.
Jack....Owen....Jack....Owen.... Decisions, decisions!!! THis week's episode SUCKED BTW!!! What a fluff episode!!
Random Shoes? Yes, that episode was SUCH a disipointment after watching "They Keep Killing". That was a good episode. (I vote Jack. Owen is kinda a sleeze)
Well I've finally caught up on Dr Who Season "2" and Torchwood. I think the scariest part was having to see Rhys's butt twice!!
That was deb's favorite part. Now you just have the "new Adventures of Sarah Jane"....don't worry if you skip it....it sucked...poor Sarah
Yeah I saw it. Its one thing to be a kids show, but that was aimed at a really young audience, and the writing was extremely cartoony.
Haven't gotten to Torchwood yet. Culling my way through The Tenth Doctor's adventures so far. Just finished "Age of Steel"...How could they leave Mickey behind!?
