    June 14
    Scooby Doo (Comedy)

    The Bourne Identity (Action/Thriller)
Based on Robert Ludlum books, it's the Matt Damon one we've seen previewed in theatres

    June 21
    Lilo & Stitch (Animated)
Check out the trailer. Actually, there's a couple of them. Could it be Disney's finally got a sense of humour? Looks like this one will be quite fun.

    Matrix Impossible
    aka Minority Report (Action/Thriller/Scifi)
Based on a Phillip K Dick story, Tom Cruise must prove himself innocent of a murder that hasn't happened yet.

    July 3rd
    MIIB
aka Men in Black II (Comedy/Action)

    PowerPuff Girls: The Movie (Animated)
Will the PowerPuff Girls defeat the evil Mojo Jojo? For the evil Mojo Jojo they be will be needing to defeat and defeating the evil Mojo Jojo they must be doing, for they are the Powerpuff Girls.

    July 12th
    Reign of Fire (eye candy/fantasy/action)
Dragonslayer meets Mad Max as dragons have their way in a post-apocalyptic England. I don't write 'em folks, I just tell ya what's coming.

    July 19th
Eight Legged Freaks (b-movie with a budget)
    Giant spiders attack!

    K-19: The Widowmaker (historical/thriller)
Han Solo and Qui Gon Jinn must prevent their Russian Sub from blowing up thereby causing a world war. It actually does sound like an interesting film, but is saddled with a horrible title.

    Stuart Little 2

    July 26th
    Austin Powers in Goldmember (comedy)

    August 2nd
    Signs
New from M. Night Shyamalan - 'nuf said

That's the lineup for the next two months or so. As I've said, it's going to be a busy busy summer...

    Well put me down for:

    Boorne Identity
    Minority Report
Lilo and Stitch (oh yeah - loving those trailers!)
    MIIB
    Reign of Fire
    K-19
    Austin Powers
    Signs

The few left I could probably do without.

Don't hate spiders! They kill the bugs that are really annoying, like flys and mosquitos!

I'm in for as many of those movies as I can afford...No word on that job yet...Fortunately, most of us have two of those movies for free, thanks to the wonderful people at The Grande! Good thing too, 'cause I doubt I'd actually go see Scooby Doo if I had to pay for it...:)

Elewyn has the freakiest spider stories ever. I don't think anyone would be able to not be afraid of spiders if they had the same experiences.

    *shudder*

I don't like spiders either. But imho, when it's the size of a volkswagon, it ceases to be a spider and becomes something altogether nastier.

The film I'm truly awaiting, Miyazaki's Spirited Away, doesn't come out until September. But of this bunch I'm looking forward to Signs.

Both Lilo & Stitch and PowerPuff Girls look to be fun - but probably worth waiting a week or two to pay admission with a cereal box. I'm getting the feeling that most people will be avoiding Eight Legged Freaks so I'll likely be alone in the theatre shouting to the screen, "NO YOU FOOL! DON'T TELL THEM 'YOU'LL BE RIGHT BACK'!!! ARG!"

    I love big monster movies.

I'm all for Scooby Doo, Lilo & Stitch, MIB II, K-19, Goldmember, Signs, and I'M WITH YOU for Eight Legged Freaks! The little buggers scare the willikers outta me, but I can't resist a good (bad?) B-movie!!!

See...I will not see The Bourne Identity BECAUSE of Matt Damon (refer to earlier posts about Leonardo DiCaprio) and ditto about Minority Report because of Tom Cruise...sigh....it's hard hating people...
