Tour of Tolkien's Works

I posted this on the Milwookie council so thought I'd post here too.

So, Marquette has gobs and gobs of Tolkien's original manuscripts, maps, etc. available for viewing by appointment, which I am in the process of setting up, and would like to invite anyone interested in coming to lunch/dinner (whichever depending on time) and to view these things.

Will let the board know when exactly later on. Just let me know if interested.

Thanks for posting here as well because there are some of us who don't go to the other boards for whatever reasons (for me, I don't have the time to watch 2 boards for this group so I watch only the "official" thread plus I also belong to other groups like the 501st, MWG and several other non-SW ones so get daily digests I have to read from them). I only have so much time and really don't like wasting too much of it.

Anyways, I would be interested if the day and time is good for me.

 

Great! I'm working on a good day/time. A weekend seems to work for most people but I also don't want to interfere with any other groups that are meeting. And my GA work schedule doesn't help.

Will let everyone know waaaaay in advance when the day is.
