Monday afternoon (local time for SF), we will be taking our tour of Rancho Obi-Wan. Computer access being highly problematic, I may or may not be able to check in via Facebook (as the final instructions for the tour indicate), But I'll try. Lisa, we got your cards.
We just got back from the tour (including the 70+ minute drive with stops from Petaluma to SF). Our tour was just under 4 hours, mostly because there were just 2 of us and we were really quiet (listening to Steve and not monopolizing or trying to reach for items). Took over 200 images - we'll have a Rancho Tour party sometime in May (before or after a practice). The first thing Steve did was put on his jersey!! He's on the committee that reviews designs for such events, so he's seen the new logo for this years and wants one (hint*hint* hint). So much passionate information and enthusiasm, even though they're beginning to back for Celebration. But he did say that the TOY HUNTER / Boba Fett prototype thing was complete fiction - the worst reality tripe imagineable. More later when we get back.
Sneak peak: This is the filming saber shown in Entertainment Weekly in the ROTJ newly released photos. The blade is a metal rod encased in a polycarbonate shell, the hilt a little smaller than the beauty versions. Be glad we're not using these. Steve could not wait to don a Bisons jersey.
