    This is tough. Both are about equal in my eyes. I have to go with Dark Lord if only because Star by Star focused too much on the younger kids instead of the main characters and it felt almost like watching a teenie bopper tv show. So my vote is for Dark Lord

    I'm going to use the same justification that I used when DL came up against SoA. SbS was a great story and a great book but I'd rather read about Darth Vader anyday.

    Aw, man! I really liked The Last Command. But that's kind of like pitting the star cheerleader at your school against Mary Lou Retton.

    Can't vote, cause I haven't read Traitor. Pity, sounds like it could be a worthy book, although don't know if it would be better than The Last Command. [face_thinking]
