First off I'd like to thank droideka27 for putting this thing together. It's been a blast taking the time to really appreciate these novels and figure out how they stack up against one another.

Neither of these final two books are what I consider to be the "best" SW novel, but both are certainly in what I consider to be the "upper echelon" of SW novels.

It does not surprise me that ROTS made it here, but it does surprise me that Star by Star did.

While listening to Nine Inch Nails and reviewing the book that I am choosing to vote for I found myself moved to tears. An interesting reaction to say the least.

In the end, Troy Denning's depiction of the fall of Anakin Solo and Leia's subsequent grief got to me more than Matt Stover's depiction of Anakin Skywalker's fall did.

Revenge of the Sith!

This is the ONLY book that deserves to win. IN fact, I love it so much, it was the only book I would give a review of 10. IT's everything a book should be: exciting, heartfelt, tragic, doesn't leave a bad taste in my mouth... oh, I could go on. It's just the best SW book ever.

I have always loved the EU but I guess I never thought much about which would be my favorite Star Wars book before this tournament. Many times I was surprised by my own decisions when I had to make a tough choice. So thank you, droideka27, for doing this and thanks to everyone for sharing your thoughts.

My last vote is for Revenge of the Sith. Matthew Woodring Stover is a great, relatively new addition to the ranks of the Star Wars authors!

Tough one, going to go with Revenge of the Sith though, I waited for what was written in it for over 20 years.
