I mournfully agree with you... Indiana Jones is no fantasy character! Now Gandalf! He's (in my opinion) a great icon for fantasy characters! It's not right, I tell you, it's just not right... I want a re-match... NOW!!!

The problem with LOTR...can you honestly put any one character that far above the others?

The entire cast of characters is a mega-ensemble.

In Indy's case...it's all him for the most part.

Though my ultimate choice bit the dust weeks ago...this is acceptable.

And just shows how much we all drink the Lucas koolaid.
