Very close, liked Hush a lot, but gotta go with Lost- Exodus. Brilliant pacing, acting, writing and editing.

    Exodus part 2

Justice League Unlimited - For the Man Who Has Everything

Superman: Do you have any idea what you did to me?!?

Mongul: I fashioned a prison that you couldn't leave without sacrificing your heart's desire. It must have been like tearing off your own arm.

    Firefly - Serenity

Simon: You had the Alliance on you, criminals and savages... half the people on the ship have been shot or wounded including yourself, and you're harboring known fugitives.

    Mal: We're still flying.

    Simon: That's not much.

    Mal: It's enough.

Tough choice but I'll go with Serenity.

It would take one hell of a show for me to vote against that particular episode of JLU, but Serenity qualifies. It's just a bit better overall.

Burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't keep Firefly - Serenity out of the semis (6-1).

Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Once More With Feeling

Giles: I wish I could lay your arms down, and let you rest at last.
Wish I could slay your demons, but now that time has passed.
Wish I could stay your stalwart standing-fast,
But I'm standing in the way.
I'm just standing in the way.

This is hard... These two are possibly my two favorite episodes of my favorite show. I guess I'll go with the more "joyous" of the two... Once More With Feeling.

    The Body

OMWF sure was original, but the novelty wore off quickly for me. Not a huge fan of that episode.

The Body. It actually made me :_|

EDIT: "Burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't keep Firefly - Serenity out of the semis (6-1)."

The Body - Just such a powerful episode. OMWF was clever, and a lot of fun, but The Body was just way better.

    Quoted for truth.

As for this round, I'll have to go with The Body. OMWF is one of the greatest episodes of Buffy, no doubt about it. But "The Body" is a more personal tale.

Both are fantastic, but I'm going with The Body, the emotional impact of that episode is just unreal.

In the battle of Buffy vs. Buffy, The Body comes out victorious (5-3) and rounds out the semifinals.

Star Trek: The Next Generation - Tapestry

Picard: What if I don't avoid the fight? What if I won't make the changes?

Q: Then you die on the table...and we spend eternity together.

    Picard: Wonderful.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Hush

Anya: This isn't a relationship. You don't need me. All you care about is lots of orgasms.

Xander: Okay, remember how we talked about private conversations? How they're less private when they're in front of my friends?

Spike: Oh, we're not your friends. Go on.

    Giles: Please don't.

As great as "Tapestry" is, I gotta go with "Hush". The "Buffy" fanboy in me demmands it.
