    Sure.

    Heavy Metal

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind-- I consider this to be SFF, although I could understand if people disagree. It's got mind control/alteration, some gadgetry and some pretty sweet visuals. Plus the only Jim Carrey dramatic performance that doesn't make me want to vomit. Michel Gondry is a genius, and so on and so forth

Okay, well we have 72 Films nominated. More then I expected. So scratch the 64 Film limit. What do you say we go to 80 instead?

We need eight more films nominated.

Could you maybe edit the first post to show all nominations so that we don't have to read the entire thread to find out what has been nominated? I remember Strilo did that with the SW videogames tournament. Thanks.

Anyway, I don't think these have been mentioned:

    Forbidden Plannet

The Day the Earth Stood Still

    Invasion of the Body Snatchers

    Warrior_of_Mandalore Strikes Again!

    What?! No Darkstar nominations?

Most everything I would have nominated is already mentioned. This is gonna be fun.

Voting begins Monday, September 18th. We'll do one bracket at a time as I announce them. Once I announce a bracket competition, each user has 48 hours to PM me what their vote is. We'll go through each bracket systematically until we have a winner from each.

A few, sure. The first tournament was done that way and I think it worked great. It didn't flood this thread with one word votes. Also, it keeps the voting results anonymous until the voting is over. That way, people aren't swayed one way or another.

Also, if you're talking about polls, that would be a lot of polls. I know I could delete them once I'm done, but I don't want something that's separate from this thread. It gets confusing and sometimes users won't know where to go.

Let's keep it simple. PM your vote during each announced contest. No polls to locate, no one word posts flooding this thread.

    :)

I don't agree with Dark City being classified fantasy- it's definitely science fiction, especially given it's inspiration is Metropolis, one of the first sci-fi movies.

I'd suggest swapping it with somethign else, like Ghostbusters (which, to me at least, seems more of a fantasy).
