You can nominate more if you want. Remember my requirements that I posted a few posts above this one. We need like 5 Sci-Fi Films and 10 or so Fantasy Films. I would like to have the nominations process over by tonight so that we can get the tournament going. Whatever we're missing by tonight, I'll fill in with a few more of my own nominations.

Good, and well mixed up to have a few big hitters in each bracket. #4 is the only one that seems noticeably weaker and that's probably just my imagination and lack of movie knowledge :p

Looking forward to the start of voting!

506, I just noticed some apparent errors:

You've got Time Bandits listed twice in Bracket #3.

Excalibur is listed in both Brackets 5 and 7.

Then you've got Stargate in two brackets :p

    #2 and #7

IMO its definatly more Sci-Fi then Fantasy so it should probably stay in #2 ;)

Toy Story doesn't seem very fantasy-ish to me but thats a different story for a different thread ;)

How about throwing Dragonheart in Stargate's bracket #7 spot?

Edit: And Solaris (last bracket) has a 'y' that shouldn't be in it.

Voting for only one movie per bracket? That'll really sweep some decisiveness out of play. A movie only has a one in 16 chance of moving forward. If all the good movies get voted out early, I might request some html egghead to make an digitized bracket where each movie is in a 1 on 1. That would be too much to handle via PM, but it would give more accurate results and could be done via a mouse click.

There are contests within the brackets. Each bracket has 16 movies, each will randomly be paired with another movie. After everyone votes for their favorite movie out of each of the 8 battles, there will be 8 movies left. And then so on and so on through each bracket.
