Actually, I was behind Jango with the Naboo float. That's a good pic of me in one of those rare moments when I wasn't running to catch up with our float going 10 mph down Colorado.

 

ahhhhh I just saw on tv the images of the parade and they were talking about
the big plans for the celebration of the 30th years of Star Wars!!!
I'm so sad that I wont be able to be part of it bubububuubbu. I'm still working
to see if I will be able to go to CIV but I dont know yet.

Everyone who participate in the parade or helping with the cars i just can say
you did an extraordinary job.

I actually watch that show here in Lima. I find it very funny. Especially because the girls
say so many dumb things hahahaha. Oh Rich People! they dont know what else do.

 

You and I must have the same sense of humor. Some of the things those girls say just crack me up. (that's part of the reason I can just listen to it while I sew.) Then again, I think it is interesting to see how stressed out some of the girls like Bridget get when they have to do a photo shoot or something.

- NBC HD broadcats

I'll take one, Kathy. Are they the entire parade, or just the SW Spectacular and Lucas segments only? Was there any behind the scenes stories before the parade also?

 

Well, my husband didn't think to tape the pre-parade coverage if there was any. In the middle of I think the NBC or ABC coverage there was an interview with the dude who does Vader (I recognized him from the 501st dinner at comic-con) explaining how the fans make their costumes, how the 501st started - etc.

Right now we have the entire parade, 3 different broadcasts. It takes up 4 DVDs to get all 3 broadcasts recorded since the KTLA one was over 2 hours. Do you only want Star Wars stuff? That would take some extra effort to segment all that stuff out. If you prefer it that way (and others do to) without the rest of the parade we will work on it.

 

I was hoping whoever got the best versions of each network could edit them onto one DVD and make them available to whoever wants them. I understand it was covered by about 6 different networks?

 

When you say edit them down, do you mean you just want the Star Wars stuff? I only have the 3 broadcasts. Take em or leave em. LOL!

 

Thanks for those photos kay_dee, I'm glad someone got shots of me up there with the Ewok.

By the way, I'd love a copy of any parade footage you have. Since I couldn't see anything during the parade itself I've been stuck watching YouTube videos. I'd really welcome some TV quality video.
