    GREAT NEWS!!!

Okay, I got a hold of Ron at Toy Anxiety (Turns out he's been out of town quite a bit and I kept on missing him. Anyway...)!

    Here's the deal!

TOY ANXIETY will be having it's TOYS FOR TOTS DROP OFF all through the month of December.

HOWEVER! The Big Holiday Hoopla will happen Saturday, December 13th! It will probably be an all day thing (from like 11am to 5pm)

*The U.S. Marines will be out there!
*TA Plans to contact the 501st DSG about possibly being out there.
*There will be door prizes, raffles, etc!
*Toys will be collected and tickets given for January's TA Movie event!
*Food... maybe a PFF Table with banner?

A Date hasn't been set yet for when the Toy Anxiety Movie Party will be exactly, but they're thinking it will probably be the second or third weekend in January.
The Movie will most likely be RETURN OF THE KING! :D

PFF is basically Gauranteed tickets due to our mass quantity of Toys we are donating... (currently 112 toys)! I have to give them a set number of people when they get the movie date figured out. (But that's later)!

IN THE MEAN TIME! I know it's still a few months away, but if I could get a general idea of how many COSTUMED PFF-ers would be available that day (December 13th. Please include what costume) to hang around for a while. Please post it here!

I think that's it...(whew!) Post any questions or concerns here! :D

    -LP

PS. I realize that December 13th would be the second saturday of the month... so I guess we'd have to figure something out to work around the December meeting. :p

I haven't even thought that far into the future right now. As far as I know, Void and I should be there.

    Cool deal, Feldman! :D

Yeah, I understand about it being very far in the future. I'm just really excited about a relatively STAR WARS themed event coming up. :D Not that anything else we don isn't fun. SW just makes me extra happy!

    EVERYBODY -

No word as of yet as to what time it starts. My guess is that it will just be an open to close kinda' thing. Normally, TA opens at 11am and closes at 5pm, Monday through Saturday.

There is a chance that they will open early for the event. Or at least be there early to set up and so forth!

IF YOU HAVE A COSTUME AND KNOW THIS FAR IN ADVANCE THAT YOU CAN MAKE THIS EVENT, PLEASE POST IT HERE AND LET US KNOW WHAT COSTUME! :D

...Sorry for all the caps :) This is basically just so I can give TA an aproximate number of "costumed" characters and possibly for some of their advertising!
You can also post even if you're not entirely sure yet. Just let us know.

Even if you don't have a costume, please come on out and wear your PFF shirt or come as you are! Toy Anxiety RULES!

Any other thoughts or questions, please post here. I will try to answer what I can. :D

PS - I will also talk to TA about a possible PFF booth with flyers!

When you say void and you... are you refering to the void buried in the back yard, or the robotic replacement you built as to fool us into believing he's not being tortured by the viet cong in a tiger cage and having been forced to play russian rolutte with them screaming DIDDY MAO at him?

    Just wondering...
    :)

(only kidding, you guys are great together)

Are we doing non-SW costumes too? 'Cause with the hair Spike is about all I've got.

I don't see why not, IA. The Star Wars themed thing is just kind of a Toy Anxiety Tradition. Their store used to be called THE EMPIRE OF TOYS, which they ended up changing because of some name/domain problems (not with Lucasfilm). But yeah, I think a non-star wars costume would be fine.

This is gonna' be great! Okay, here's a list of who's coming so far and as what.

    LORDPARSEC - Kyle Katarn
    Parsec's Dad - Count Dooku
    Darksidersteve - Darth Maul
    Darth Feldman - Luke Skywalker
    MJ - Jaina Solo
    Jedi Hunter - Sith Lord
    VOID - Jedi-like costume
    Mick - Jedi Knight
    IA - Spike
    Webb - Jedi Knight
    Kreleia - Padme
    Lady_Jedi - Rebel Desert Trooper
Jada - Queen Marnew (Alternative Universe character)
    Darth_Rinku - Sith Lord
Toasty (possibly) - Endor Rebel Soldier

I'm going to wait a while longer before sending a list to Toy Anxiety. But I figured it best to get the ball rolling. Thanks guys and gals! :D
