TOY FAIR Darth Vader rereleased!

i just got the heads up on this, the only bad news; it's only in France. this could be a good thing nonetheless. maybe now we can get ahold of this figure for a little cheaper!

it's a quick blurb and it shows the back of the card. i'll post more details when as i find them out!

Um, Devil? In that link above, it's spelled "Toy Fair".

"Fair" would make sense, as well, since that's the type of event that that Vader was given away at (a fair for toys).


"Fare" is not the right word for that context.

 

So how many more are they producing? Cant be the same card though,, the TF vader was the 25th ann and its now the 26th. So the incert has to be diffrent.

 

LOL....Toy FAIR is the show in New York ...where the Toy FAIR Vader was first available...

ok, so it's toy FAIR, i was a little excited when i wrote the post. anyways, i've contacted someone in the french SW fan club and the item is totally sold out. if any one knows what 'francs' are worth in US dollars, he said he was offered one for 150 francs. maybe that'll give everybody a rough idea what it's going for on the secondary market.
still, even if only a small number came out, that's a small number MORE that are available.
also, it is the same card as the US one, it just has a french sticker on the back.

Anyone know how many francs per US dollar?

 

I still want to know how many more were made? Is it part of the 5k or were more producted? It doesnt make sense to have the same card since this was a New York Toy fair and this is in France. Why would they reprint the New York insert if its made for a french fair.?

 

I'm going to have to get one of these!

and i'll also add, the price is in euros, i looked into that situation a little more and 1 euro is slightly more than 1 US dollar.
