Abq Toy Show on the 14th

Just to give you a heads up....Ken and I have been doing some talking and have decided to do the toy show in ARMOR! Who is with us? C'mon Lor....dig out the X-wing Pilot outfit! Any Jedi or Sith out there? Let me know what you think!

I would go with you but I have to work that day-biug surprise. And Lor is jaunting up to Denver this weekend.

What are the times for the toy show though? Make sure and get lots of pictures. Do you want fliers to hand out? I can print a bunch tonight?

 

If we can get several people to go, it will be a nice showing from Mos Alba, and I think we'll all enjoy it more than we will the Bubonicon...

No doubt...the TIE Pilot....but the Stormtrooper armor is so cool (looking)

Makes me wish I had a costume now! Dagnabbit! You can count me and my family on going. I'll make sure to sport the group T-shirt and I'll get some flyers printed. We should get everyone that's going to print out a handful...

 

I'd so be in, but as varza has said I'll be in Denver this weekend... Be sure and take some pictures for the website, and the fliers are on the website for all to down load...

Jess/Gecko... that Tie Pilot looks awesome! I wish you could wear your Sandtrooper and let Yvonne wear the Tie Pilot! That would be really cool, then we could see both of your suits! Tell her I said that, maybe she'll like the idea and pester you until you give in!

I called the Marriott, 881-6800, sales dept., (who had incorrect info, but gave me a contact name, Henry at Lobo Anime Comics 332-0499) the convention is from 9:00AM to 3:00PM... Could we all show up at the same time? What time does everybody think? It might be busiest at the end, so maybe 12-2? (Jess and I may not be able to hold out much longer than that in our suits!)

OR, how about this? He said we could buy a table for $30... Does anyone want to do that? We could have Mos Alba fliers on it, maybe sell some stuff, if anyone has anything....

Oh, yeah, umm... LadyNaberrie, we haven't met yet, and I don't want to start off on the wrong foot... will you be upset if I wear my corsetted Padme UNDER my armor?

 

we unfortuantly do not have any money in the coffers for a table I believe.

I work from 9:30 to 4pm this saturday and no way of getting the day off. So I will miss it but no biggie-not like it hasn't happened before.

 

I'm sorry, Varza (and LOR), that sucks! We can write you a Dr's note so you can call in sick! What if some Stormtroopers come to your job and place you under "arrest"?

I'll pay for the table, if we need one... thought it might make us look more official and all, plus it looks better than handing out fliers off of the floor!
I think $30 is a good price to have a place to put our stuff and give us something to hide behind!

So is it just Jess, me, Wook, LadyN and Halo (and family)? Any od us who collect toys and wants to sell/trade them would have a great opportunity to do so, since it IS a toy convention!

Halo, maybe YOU should wear the corsetted Padme!
