Hi everyone

Greetings from the place truly down under
the land of the long white cloud and home to the America's cup


I am visiting the nice state of Colorado next month and would like to know the following

1) Where are the best toy stores for newer SW figures?

2) Where is the best store to look for vintage stuff?

3) Where is the best store to look for comics?

I am looking for mainly vintage 3 3/4" figures, playsets and vehicles,

Any help would be appreciated, looking to be in Denver, Colorado Springs, and Boulder and maybe Fort Collins

the best place to find vintage in colorado is my house ! j/k

new stuff , i guess would be wal-mart . if you want to pay TOP dollar you could go to mile hi commics or (help me remember guys) there is a place on I36 and pecos i think . there are a few other places too . you can also post here what you need here and someone here might be able to help .

vintage , mile hi has some , but collecters corner has some good stuff some times . its on 104th and melody near I25 .

At a reasonable price, it takes more than 2 of our dollars to match yours but they have similar buying power

Vinatge Boba Fett (strange i don't have one yet)

New Band Max Rebo Band Members

Hoping to pick some of the new accessory sets while i am there

maybe purchasing some online then i wont have to pay for shipping

Any shop names would be appreictaed and address
will prob got to Co Springs/Boulder and Ft Collins so in any one there knows of some good shops please let me know

Hey! Where in New Zealand are you from? I have really good friends that live by Lake Taupo. Hehe.. I remember my vacation there, I have never seen so many sheep farms. Unfortunalty I was allergic to something and was as sick as a dog

Too bad I won't be in the springs when you are in town, (I leave this weekend for college), but I would suggest cruising walmart on Chelton and Platt for any toys. As for collecters stuff, I wouldn't know where to get it, but I'm sure someone knows.

once you got dates narrowed down a bit let us know and we can arange to meet you and take you treasure shopping.

a few hours drive from Lake Taupo but i do have sheep at my parents place

not sure i can afford the treasure with the way the exchange rate is hanging around the NZD1 = USD0.47

Last time i was there it was NZD1 = USD0.64-74
that was way better

there is also a store on south broadway called "the space station" although I dont care to shop there its one of those places with no price tag's. there is also "all C'c's over off of I-225. they are known to be pricey but they do have a good selection of vintage.


you really should keep us informed of your trip dates so we could meet you at some point and have some lunch.

I have no idea what the address is but thats the name of the place.

 

Something that we forgot to mention is how tight secuity is at airports in the US. I doubt that you would want to take your plunders by the screeners, and packing them well enough to stand the rigors of international flight may be too expensive. Try to come up with a goal of how much you can take with you back to Jamaica or Easter Island or wherever it is in the South Seas.

 

Can't wait to meet yet another traveler. We have a large collecting group, I'm sure we would love to take you places and watch someone else spend money. hahahaha

Scanners and all that jazz doesn't worry me too much, I open all my stuff so they will be opened and re packed any way

Boxes/packaging just take up space that could have been used for more toys

any stores in Ft Collins/Boulder/Colorado Springs?
