I just called the cord here in town. They are going to send over a box for us to use in the front of the store.

Earl, you guys are on their list right? I told them that we were working with you.

do you guys have a logo you can mail me or on a website I can download? I want to put mos alba & the anazi (misspelled i know) on the fliers we are handing out.

 

speeking of fliers .... will we have Mos Alba fliers at the Eubank Wal-Mart? Acroding to the list its only me, Lindsey, and Peter representing us....I don't have any fliers and I think they don't either.

 

What in the frak was I thinking.....7am! I expect to be in a calorie coma by that time of the morning! It may be just me in the morning cuz I am not going to get Yvonne up at that time.....I am going to get my butt chewed anyways for leaving by myself.....

 

yeah, see, gecko, that's why I signed up for 11. Besides, I gots me some shopping to do at 7! So I might swing by to say hi.

Unfortunately, though, I'm a little miffed with myself. I don't think I'll be finished with my costume by Friday. Considering tomorrow is a blown day, I've got just tonight, and maybe tomorrow night to finish it up.

1. Make the velcro/elastic straps for all pieces (knees, elbows, biceps, shoulders, chest/back).
2. Glue the lens into my helmet.
3. Glue the screens into the ear pieces.
4. Paint the aerator on the helmet.
5. Finish gluing the boots.
6. Finish the belt.

Egads! It's more than I thought. *sigh*

 

What about the cumberbun? Is that done? You can do it!

 

The cummerbund is almost done. I just need the groin flap, and then it's done. Julie finished sewing the pouches last night. It looks AWESOME. We did the cummberbund in the Gentle Giant style (with ribbing - for her pleasure!), instead of the older, non-ribbed style!

They are on the website for easy access for everyone to print? If you are worried about ink use the stormtrooper flier (flier 2.5), the vader eats up the ink.

 

Hey Jess/Bob I'm planning to do a 10-12 shift on Friday so I will catch you there. I'm on call for work for the holiday weekend so hopefully things will go good and I can make it! Richie is still not done with the TIE armor so I'll be sporting the Jedi garb.

 

Great! I'm on call, as well, so hopefully, anything that happens, I can talk people thru over the phone...

I would have to agree with you on that one. Even in my armor I got cold. The wind and clouds were no help.

I was going to print up some fliers but my printer died. LadyNaberrie I told you so and you said you were perfectly warm in your Hot Topic pants

 

I was warm! then the wind picked up! Oh! we also saw bobasparxx today, it was very nice to see him once again.

 

I am so sorry I did not make it today! I thought I was fine yesterday from having caught a bad bug on Thanksgiving, then I upchucked last night so my mom did not want me to go out today.

 

It's ok LadyNaberrie, Jonathan was there and it was slow anyway. I think they were going to call it early if it didn't pick up. Take care of yourself and feel better.

 

I was and am in the same boat as Lady N....both Yvonne and I came down with a nasty bug!

 

I was sick most of the weekend. But atleast I got to rest.

 

On Saturday there was just two people running it..me and one guy from Starfleet. But it was warmer and we got more people to come up to the table.
