Tampa, FL Toys R US DVD Release Pics from Brandon Nov 6th!

Over 30 costumed members of the 501st, Rebel Legion and Fanforce were in full effect in Brandon for one of the most successful troops ever...Barry the Toys R Us events co-ordinator was ecstatic several hundred people came out to bring their children to have their pics taken with us and loved us!

Several huge raffle prized with dozens of toys and games were also given away!

The Baby is Carmen, Bert and Leighanns adorable daughter in custom Stormtrooper Armor that Leighann made! Way to go Leighann!

This is probably one of the most awesome costumes ever...the child is a friend of the event co-ordinator Barry and he is disabled in a wheel chair so he and his father converted the wheel chair into Darth Vaders Tie Fighter VERY AWESOME!!!!

Thanks to everyone that came...sorry I was still laid up from the stroke and back surgery, but I will be at the Tampa Comic Con on the 20th!

Thanks for the compliment, Joe! I kind of want to wear my Imperial Officer uniform all the time now. Although I'm told that would be a little weird. But I'm sure you all understand how exciting it is to have a SW costume (or many costumes, as is the case for some of you, and will be for me eventually).

So be proud of it and wear it all the time, we wont think its strange, hell i wear 501st shirts all the time now

You start crankin theses puppies out and I might have to have you help me on a "soft" costume as well. If you do I promise to help you on your next venture (actually I will do that anyways, I just want to sound like I have leverage)

 

That sounds like a good deal. If you want a costume you can easily spend the whole day in I can help you out there. Which is not to say that your armor isn't great, because it is, and you know I'm jealous of the fact that you have some. But it can be good to have a variety.

You already are helping me with my next venture, but I'll pretend you have leverage.
