TPM: Favorite Lines

OMG...I get chills everytime I hear that line.

 

Lot of memorable lines from here.

The scene I can quote for like a minute is when Nute Gunray and co. find out who the ambassadors really are.

 

Mine is

and

Yeah, "Are you an angel?" is brilliant. Friggin' brilliant.

Ah, the subtlety, the nuance, the insightfulness.

Come on, guys...there are a few quotables in The Phantom Menace, but "Are you an angel?" and "How do you feel?" "I'm cold, sir." aren't exactly original dialogue.

You know how someone can write a screenplay like this? You read the most hackneyed, commercialized, overused screenplay dialogue in cinema...that lacks no imagination whatsoever...and you regurgitate it up.

Simple.

 

"At last we will revel ourselves to the Jedi. At last we will have Revenge."

"I will not condors an action that will lead us to War."

Then comes this which is creepy.

"What is it?"

"This Scheme of your has Failed Lord Sidoues, the blocked is finished but we dare not to go against the Jedi."

"Viceroy I DON'T WANT THIS STUND SLIME IN MY SIGHT AGAIN."

"This term of events is over and begin landing your troops."

"My Lord is the Legal?"

"I will Make it Legal."

" And the Jedi?"

" The Chanceller should of never brought them aboard this. Kill them Imedeatley."

That was kindy Creepy when Sidous first showd up in the Hologram. And that Scene still creeps me out.

I´ve never heard anything really that corny in my life. That´s art, man!

Too many too count all but if I were to name the greatest it would be

1: I don't want that stunted slime in my sight.... (Sidius' lines)

2: Feel, don't think, use your instincts

3: I was not elected to watch my people suffer while you...

4: fear leads to anger - anger leads to hate - hate leads to suffering. I sense much fear in you.

Many more but these four stick to mind at the moment.

 

My favorite would have to be:

"And YOU, young Skywalker....we shall watch your career with GREAT interest". Chancellor Palpatine.

This is the first line I thought really started to bridge the PT with the OT.

 

I think TPM seems to be the most quotable of all the films - so far

Delievered perfectly by Ian you could see the sly desire for power creeping through his Palps act.

"pathetic life form" - the arrogance that worries yoda has infected even obiwan

"i must do what the force..etc." but this is the way it read in the book: "secrets must be exposed when found. detours must be taken when encountered. and if you are the one who stands at the crossroads or the place of concealment, you must never leave it to another to act in your place."...and this conversation between qui gon and obiwan immediately preceded the above: "listen to me, my young padawan. there are secrets hidden in the force that are not easily discovered. the force is vast and pervasive and all living things are a part of it. it is not always apparent what their purpose is, however. sometimes that purpose must be sensed first in order that it may be revealed later." very Zen.

Can't believe I forgot my all time favourite which is

"I will not condone a cause of action that will lead us to war" (something many world leaders might consider these days). It is a perfect line portrayed to perfection by miss Portman.
