Hear ye! Hear ye!

At long last, it is time once again to test your knowledge of all manner of TPM arcana, minutae, and factoids! Your benevolent host Darth-Stryphe will be your guide through the mayhem and carnage to follow.

In the past, this contest has been team-driven. It succeeded nicely in bringing together posters from a variety of backgrounds in the spirit of friendly competition and camaraderie...

...which has now changed...

This contest is a little different. The teams are gone. The camaraderie is gone. Things are a bit more cut-throat and machiavellian.



Here's the dealio:

There are eight players competing in this contest.

Stryphe will ask a question, and the contestants are to PM him their answer. The first contestant to respond correctly will then cast a secret vote for one of the other players to be removed from the game and banned for a week. This vote will also be via PM, and no results will be discussed. You'll know who got the question first, but you won't know who has been chosen. Once a player amasses three votes for elimination, he/she/it is gone for a week.

Our winner is the last man standing, who gets a title and colors.

Fun, n'est-ce pas?

I think you forgot to mention that they can post with a sock during that week they are banned.

EV Edit: I went ahead and copied in the first post into the first reply so when I terminated the sticky, the first post could still exist. The second edit is changing the name of the topic, which I forgot to do in the first edit.

Just thinking about the rules, this could cause a few problems, time wise.

Anyway it begins....and I better start revising

 

Are all our players in either the US, Canada or UK? If so, I can easily post a question around late morning/earlier afternoon Central Standard time, which would still mid-morning on the west coast, only an hour later on the east coast, and late early evening in UK, thus allowing everyone a fair chance during normal waking hours.

However, remember it's not the first answer that counts, but the first right answer that counts

Anyway, to get things rolling, I'll go ahead and post the first question now.
