Well, here's the official Outer Rim Supreme Chancellor's review of the meet:

The night began with a mad panic as Princess Lego & I tried to get everything ready and be there on time to hand out tickets to everyone else. In all the mad rush, we forgot to give Barbarjinks a lift (he's seen it before though. He'll live - sorry anyway).
When we arrived, we were escorted to the dress circle area reserved for us, which could be identified by the old rope elegantly arranged in a crescent shape. Princess Lego then seated herself at the door to greet everyone as they arrived while I took on the tas of shooing uninvited non-outer rimmers away from our exclusive area. The area immediately outside was being patrolled by my padawan and gonk.
Then they began arriving. Jedi_Nat, Sith_Magician, Pinback, Grizzly, Loadeddog and others (nearly 50).
The evening began with a performance of Lucas' "Phantom Menace" part 1. I had seen this particular production previously and it seems the same each time with never a variation in lines or scenes. That is obviously a credit to the performers.
We sat in the comfortable seating, cleverly designed with a natural grassy look, surrounded by the incence-like odours of burning insect repellant. The insect repellant and occasional smoker combined to set off the fire sprinkler system for a brief shower (Grizzly's first shower for the year 2000 in fact). Some, however, used the venue's lack of a roof as evidence that it was in fact rain, and not smoke alarms that caused the shower.
Those who were truly enjoying the show endured the rain to see it through to it's exciting climax, where the good guys... Better not spoil it for those who weren't there (SK & LK).
In general, a very enjoyable evening, and certainly a very positive step forward for our little band of Outer Rim starwars nuts.

Well, I managed to remind myself to turn up - amazingly enough. Although someone forget to remind SoulKrusher! I brought the wonderful meet photos, and we all had a good laugh! The movie was great, although my backside is hurting from sitting on that hard ground. I'm bringing my blow-up couch next time! The rain was lovely as well - took away that awful heat from during the day. Well some of it anyway.

P.S. Thanks for the sugar supply LD!
