Can somebody explain to me why I heard the Trade Federation Theme when Obi Wan looked upon the clones?

I have read that it was John Williams way of throwing a "red herring" to the audience.

Remember, at that point in the film, the alliegence of the clones was still unknown.

    Mace Windy,
    this signature blows!

The music was originally suppose to be used when Obi-Wan flew past hundreds of Trade Federation freighters orbiting Geonosis.

Then it was going to be used when Amidala and Anakin discovered the droid foundaries.

GL wanted the Imperial March saved for the end sequence.

It was excellently placed. It's one of my favorite moments from AOTC.

Yes, it doesn't really make much sense.
But it sure sounds cool ...

No it was not. It was used for the scene it was written for. If you are going to post stuff like this then provide proof.

Well, there's no arguement that it didn't sound as cool as heck, it just befuddled me.

reposting a comment of mine from other thread we discussed this in:

Or is it serving as a subtext...ie though this army will be fighting against the TF army, they are actually both "owned" and ordered around by Palpatine...

then, as he chooses one to openly back, we see the beginning of their definition being an imperial army.
