    Check out da colours!

    [face_dancing] [face_dancing][face_dancing]

The title says I came in second place, but I actually won. The points were miscounted and then it was too late to change the titles.

    Oh well!

While we're on the topic of C4, does anyone know where abouts we'll be able to find info for package deals for flights and accomodation and all that?

Or that kinda info from C3, as the stuff on C4 mightn't be up for a while yet. I really need to find out a guestimate of prices because I'll have to start savin' my RMB as I'll have to make eight times the amount to convert to American Dollars.

That kinda stuff normally happens closer to the date, and it's a year away.

Accomidation for C4, I'd suggest trying some of the hotels around the area. The Holiday Inn and Figueora apprae to already be booked out. these are the closest to the Convention centre. If C3 is anything to go by starwars.com will announce a block of rooms available to be booked. I have no idea when this will be announced. I've booked a room but I'm keeping a eye open. Flights to LA from here are looking at about $1700-1800 right now. I'm hoping there will be a seat sale.

There's a lot of things to get there. it depends on what it is you're looking for. I can easily spend $500 on exclusives, other swag, food, and other things. The only thing I have to keep a eye on is space for the trip home.

the cost of the badge last tmie was $95 I think. I'd say this time it will be more as it's a 5 day thing. I would guess $125.00 but I have no idea at this point.

    Hope this helps amaya

Well 'hate' might be a bit strong but he thinks we're a bit wierd.

Like he's okay with a kid coming up to him and telling him he makes a great obi-Wan, but coming from a 30 year old...

Depending on where you look the nickname Azrael comes from varoius areas.

The character Azrael in the batman comic books was the person who had taken over for Batman after Bane broke batman's back.

Azrael, in some religions is the Angel of Death, there are many interpretations on this title depending on which religion or branch you wish to follow.

I, however, was given the nickname by Kylie, a friend of mine, back in Canada. to cut a long story short it's the name of the cat from the smurfs. I think I would have prefered one of the other connections but, alas, no such luck

First day of the second semester today. Only had the one lecture that was Colonial USA. They released my results today as I have paid my fees on thursday, I got 57 for Medieval Britain, Atlantic Worlds and Espionage. Unfortunately I failed Inside the New Europe and have to sit a supplimentry on Thursday (They called it a 'Terminating Pass'). I was a bit dissappointed that I only got 57 for the rest as I was expecting to get higher, but never mind.

Are you back again this semester Katana? I saw in your resigning thread that you failed a unit and have to come back and do it again. You'd be so annoyed that you went to all that trouble to get an overload last semester so you could graduate next month and you failed a unit and have to come back for another semester. Least it gives you time to focus your studies on one unit.
