Hello, how's Homer and Marge doing? ;)

I justgot back from uni and Narelle told me that I PASSED! I felt like running and running and running when I heard.

So it looks as it I WILL be graduating in August! :D

Tell Margie when you see her, Viceroy

Good on you Katana. What happend, was their an error with your results or something? Marge's fine, but I heard that Anne broke her leg during the break. I sat my supplementary exam for Inside the New Europe on Thursday, the questions were slightly different from the one that I got on the 20th of last month, but I reckon I did better than last time. I find out how I went on the 2nd August.

BTW - Same time next month it's my 21st. I haven't decided what I wanted to do yet but I want to do something. [face_dancing]

    What day exactly?

I heard about Anne, George (Amaya's mum) told me when I saw her the other week). Hope she's okay and has gotten out of bed.

and as for my results, Narelle marked my essay at the wrong level.

Awesome news Katana. What'll you be doing with yourself now then?

I didn't know you bumped into my Mum! I did know about Anne though (ouch, huh?)

And hi to the guy from Missouri! What brings you this far south of the boards?

I know what you mean. I applied for part time and casual positions at Hungary Jacks nearly a fortnight ago and have not heard back. I applied for some positions at Hungary Jacks at the end of last year and didn't get a response. It's just so rude as I take the time to write my letter and update my resume and send it, so the least they can do is reply. My mate Simon's girlfriend Jen said that places like that are probably more interested in hiring under 18's so they can pay them less.

The thing is Viceroy is that they get A LOT of applicants. And if they haven't got back to you, call them as it shows you're keen to get something.

I applied to something a fortnight ago and I'm still waiting but I got a letter to say they got my application.

Where did you go? Was it in Launceston or Hobart?

Apparently Timothy Zahn and Michael Stackpole have been down here and loved it but then again a lot of Americans like Australia, even George does.

Yeah, I read that in the front of one of the books I've read recently. Something about "Next time we in Tasmania, I drive" or something.

I cant remember what it was exactly, but I thought it was fantastic at the time.

And in case anyone is interested, I got some pretty good marks this semsetar too (I put in a lot of work, so I'd be angry if I hadnt).

    2 HDs, 1 D, and 1 lowely credit.

The credit was for a Creative Writing Elective, so it dosnt really count :)

Yeah - sorry. I've been busy, and forgetfull :(

Anyway - I looked it up when I got home.

    The full quote is:

It's in the start of Dark Tide 1: Onslaught.

I know we have pretty cool roads, but to make it into the front of a Star Wars book. I thought that was really cool.

I know, someone quoted it in Lit once and I almost fell of the chair. Good thing Zahn and Stackpole are such good friends as much of what they have written forms the backbone of the EU.

Any news about your 21st viceroy?

Was the creative writing with Andrew Peek, Jawapro? He strangle looks and sounds like Anthony Daniels (Threepio)

I'm going to have a dinner at Three Steps on George where Mum works and then have drinks afterward on the weekend of my birthday the 26th on a saturday. It's going to be a joint friend-family affair this year. But nothing's been set yet because it's about the due date of my sister's baby i.e. my niece or nephew. When it goes ahead your invited katana. Sister had pains yesterday and mum went over to see her but it was a false alarm - so it could be anytime soon.
