check the full story using the link, but I thought we all should be aware of this.

For me, it brings back the memories of those kids who took Dungeons & Dragons a little too far and got lost & died in a storm drain.

I'd hoped everyone realizes the risks when attempting a Duel. Every time I pick my Lightsaber up, I do. But things do happen. All available precausions MUST be taken.

I just thought star Wars fans were smarter than that.

I'm sorry, maybe I'm just harsh, but anyone who uses florescent lightbulbs and gasoline to have a lightsaber fight diserves whatever happens to them. Especially ones who are old enough to know better.

Heck yes. It IS harsh but sheesh.... I mean... You are LIGHTING Gasoline in quantity in an enclosed area you have to be a moron to not realize the implications of that. I feel for them and hope they recover fully, but something like this was BOUND to happen eventually. Am glad no one was killed and that people will realize now that its not a very smart idea, if they didnt have the intelligence to know earlier.

I heard about this on the radio back when it happened.

I wonder if these people are going to make the Darwin Awards.

I read about this a while ago, and I agree with Corranhorn. I must say I've done some stupid things (sled down stairs, biking with roller blades on, putt-putting in a thunder storm..), but that just takes the cake. If they'd have died, I think they would have definitely won the Darwin Awards, but thankfully they didn't. And now health insurance rates for Star Wars fans will rise 20%. DX

It just goes to show, some people just don't think before they act. They think they are invicible and nothing can hurt them. This was an accident that didn't need to happen.

And the Darwin award for dumbest stunt EVER goes to... Man some people. I've done the sledding down stairs thing (That's COOL!), but I would never play around with gasoline like that. I just hope they learned a lesson here and come out of it OK.

    I'm just wondering...

Isn't it about time to put some chlorine in the gene pool?
