It was way cool on the big screen. There was heaps to look at, like ooo what's that...and that...oh and that! Anakin didn't sound as poncy. I'm so looking forward to not seeing The Phantom Menace II.

    Ice Age was funny too.

My local is playing the Clone War trailer. And they've attached Ice Age to it!

    I kid you not.

The cinema listing in my local paper has an ad for Ice Age and a sticker thing saying "COME AND SEE THE STAR WARS EPISODE II TRAILER WITH ICE AGE NOW!!!!" or some such.

And the SW sticker is bigger than the Ice Age ad.

    LOL

Yup! I saw a similar ad in the paper today ... :)

My son is off to a friend's birthday party in the morning and they are going to see Ice Age.

Guess who's tagging along and has offered to help with the birthday party? ... Yes, moi! Oh how kind of me! :D

Never been so excited to see an animated kids movie before! [face_laugh]

Well, kids DO need a chaperone at these things...

Actually, I'm keen to see Ice Age anyway. I love the trailers, and I've already got the E2 trailer - sure it's better on the big screen - but I'm really getting into these animated films.

    :)

And I am ever so happy to chaperone for this one ... ;)

Yeah I saw the trailer for Ice Age when I was in the States in December and it looked bloody awesome!

And aside from Star Wars (from an obsessed adult's point of view that is), kids movies are about the only flicks I get to see at the cinema these days. So an appreciation of kids' flicks kinda comes naturally to me now ... :D

I could ramble on for hours about them actually ... but I'll save that for tomorrow when I get home from the birthday party ... :)

No wait, scratch that - stuff Ice Age. I'll be rambling about the AOTC Trailer D tomorrow so the Ice Age ramblings are gonna have to wait. :D

I'll go and see "Ice Age" on Tightarse Tuesday I think. I'm busy this weekend with the football. And the movie looks very good. But I'm a sucker for all those kids movies.

After a big night out last night I came home and nicked "Cats and Dogs" off my little sisters and watched it in the wee hours. I thought it was great one!

    Just a slight correction there...

Ice Age is an animated movie

Atlantis is a cartoon. It should have been on Saturday morning tv ...

    BIG difference.

(Can you tell I didn't think much of Atlantis?)

Well, I am going to see Ice Age on a first date, so it's probably not so good to go on Tightarse Tuesday, no?

In my opinion, if a chick complains about seeing a movie on a Tuesday, she's not worth it. I see movies with SM all the time using vouchers and at cheaper places; and I think it's better.

More money to spend at the candybar. :D ;)

The theatre hear is just across a carpark from a Woolies, so I just go in there for the cheapie nibblies if I feel like it. But I only ever get Parker's Pretzels these days.

Anyone remember when Tightarse Tuesday was $5? Jeez. It's $9 here now so it's almost doubled in 5 years.

    Woolies?

    Fnah. Go to Bilo, Wedge.

Don't you love walking into the theatre with a big shopping bag full o chips and cordial and nibblies?

    :)
