Downloaded what in how long ;)

Considering I pulled it in under a minute does that make me a champ/hero/king for a day?

I'm still not entirely wrapped in it. TPM's trailer were way better. Only time will tell if they pan out to be similar. There's room to improve on TPM, but there's also more room to go downhill.

D/loading while working at the ISP is cheating Jester ;)

As a side note, I was pretty surprised this morning while dropping my boy off at school.
(he's in year one for those that don't know) Most of his friends had seen the trailer on channel 10 news last night, and they were all talking about it very excitedly.

It was very surreal watching him and his friends get excited about a film that's in the same series as a movie that my friends & I got excited over when I was in year one :)

Ah, to think we only have this happening one more time...

Hey guys, wasn't it great seeing the OT in it's uncorrupted form on the big screen?

For those that were there anyway :p

    EDIT: Speeling [face_blush]

Well I was only around for the latter two so I can't really talk, but I do believe the scene in ROTJ where luke has his lightsabre out and he lops off the front of the speeder bike being prolly the coolest thing i have seen on the big screen ever!!

So how many of us can claim to have seen the OT in the original form on the original release on the big screen???

I was 5 when I saw Star Wars (NOT A New Hope) on the big screen for the first time,

I like a lot of the SE, Greedo shooting is the only bad part of the lot, for me at least.

Yeah I'll admit that the good parts of the the SE seemed to out weigh the bad. I just wish the left the yub yub song in Return of the Jedi :(

    *yub yub!..... yub yub!*

I like the new ending, it gives the saga more scope, instead of the end of the Empire being celebrated on a backwater planet with a bunch of teddy bears, you see them celebrating across the galaxy, and toppling the Emperor's statue in Imperial square on Coruscant.

I didn't see any of them on the big screen. I don't even remember when I saw Star Wars for the first time... All I know is my parents have them on video taken off of the TV. But there are no ads, so I don't know if it was even on TV... It's all so confusing. The only one I ever saw on the big screen so far was Phantom Menace... For some strange reason I saw it twice. And then having Sith Magician's son watching it almost every day when he was over... *shudder*

Anyway, I rather liked the look of the trailer. All of them so far have been really funky looking. I'm actually starting to look forward to seeing it, and I'm not even really that interested in Star Wars!

    I can't believe I just said that, don't hurt me... I didn't mean it... Really I didnt... [face_blush]

Ok, so I did mean it, but still... :p

    The SE I didn't like:

    Greedo shooting.
    Luke screaming.
    Vader's voice in ESB.
Jabba was a bit iffy, but alright.

Other than that, it was all good.

I really loved Han running around the Death Star and then into the lines of Stormtroopers rather than just the cornered stormtroopers.

So, I seem to remember last meet, we were planning on watching the trilogy on May the 4th,
I have the widescreen THX unaltered copies of the trilogy, a flat screen and 5.1 sound.
    Whaddya say? :)

What a brilliant trailer. The best so far released for Star Wars Episode 2 :)

I was worried about seeing at at first, trying to stay spoiler free & all,

But new Star Wars footage! Who could resist?! :)

After TPM, I didn't hold much hope for the rest of the prequel trilogy, but this looks like it's going to be one of the very best.

    Btw, and possible spoilers ahead!!!!

Boba Fett is meant to be a clone of Jango Fett right? which, if the Stormtroopers are left over clones of Jango, means that the OT Imperials are clones of Boba Fett, in a way.
Does this mean that in RotJ, we see an army of Boba Fetts get beaten by a bunch of teddy bears?
    I don't know about that....

I thought Boba was going to be Jango's son.

But I'm not up on any of the spoilers, so I'm not helping.
