I stood at a stance and did not let my expression betray the shock I felt. "Why would anyone resurrect the Empire is beyond me." My hand dropped down to the butt end of my lightsaber. "So the rumors are true, you kill when something doesn't go your way. Sounds like a sith to me."

Reana stared at her. "Yeah. It would be a Sith if I was Force adept. That's what I have the Admiral for...and unfortunatly Lance McCallister. And if you draw your weapon, you'll be cut down before you turn it on..."

"Lance McCallister?" I questioned with a raise of my eyebrow. The name began to run around my mind making me wonder if hes the sith that was being reported to the council recently. I smiled as I drew my lightsaber and quickly absorbed the bolt that was shot my way and sent it back to the admiral with force lightning throwing him across the room.

I looked back at Reana with a raise of my eyebrow. "You know how many people have tried that? Never works. You are here by placed under arrest, and will be taken back to Coruscant for questioning and possibly execution for your crimes."

OOC: I didn't know i attacked, with a gun too! I wanted to use my saber! Prepare to fight! Anyway you can't post my damage, so i'll say it was a guard attacking.

IC: Admiral watched as a guard was shot backwards hitting a wall. Admiral shrugged and simply ignited his saber, "I believe you won't make it out of here alive jedi," he grinned. He swung at the jedi at the waist, "You've never fought someone like me before, let me assure you."

Reana hid a smile. "Arrest? You'll have to get past the Admiral first." Reana nodded to the Admiral. "But don't kill her...she could still be useful."

IC:

Lance walked over to the bridge. "Commodore, you have the conn. Get us to the Outer Rim system nearest Yavin."

The ship lurched into hyperspace, inertial dampers kicking in to soften the transition. As they did so, Lance arrived at Jasmine's room, and walked in with a broad smile on his face. "If you thought I was in any way serious, you have a big problem." He accessed the control panel with his access codes, and killed the security features. "You're a guest assigned to me by the Empress. Welcome to the Devastator. You're on VIP status, ma'am. Just stay on the ship while I'm at Yavin IV, okay?"

I ignited my saber and intercepted Admirals and slashed up towards his head. "One thing, I excell at swordsmanship, do you really think you stand a chance at someone who can beat Luke Skywalker single handily?"

IC:

The cruiser arrived at the nearest system, and stopped dead. Minutes later, a YT-1300 lurched out of the hangar, entering light speed for Yavin IV. I can't believe I'm doing this, Lance thought to himself. He actually had reviewed the Empress' plan during the travels to this point, and found that the deception could be interesting. Since it would be easy to detect him as a Dark Jedi, though, he would have to modify some of it. He went over the plan one last time with his Spec Ops soldiers.

"Okay, I'm going to fake myself out to be a traitor, and you guys will wait behind me. One squadron will be in the east, and I will accompany the west. East squadron, when I negotiate the terms of my surrender, you set a huge frikkin' fire to the Yavin forests, drawing them all out in confusion. The power I trained myself in on our transit here will help to stop the fires, and make me look good, furthering the plan of apprehending the Jedi Master. They will try arrest first, and kill you if that fails, so be somewhat ready so surrender. West squadron will storm the Jedi Temple while we're gone, and from there we will have Skywalker where we want him. His niece and two nephews are too important to him." (OOC: Those damn Solo kids. ) "If that doesn't work, we can always add Mara and their son to the deal." (OOC: Firstly, I do believe he had a son. Secondly, from your mentioning the woman earlier, I'm figuring that already happened. If not, that part of the post ca be considered void.) The group nodded their heads in agreement, and the plan was all set. Shortly afterwards, the ship arrived in the Yavin system.

IC, before leaving for Yavin IV in the Avenger:

Lance was on his way out when he remembered a few more things he needed to say. "Before I go, I have a few favors to ask of you. First, I'd like to ask you to hold off on any transmission until my ship gets back from Yavin IV. We will not return without the objective finished. Secondly, my second-in-command has been having a stressful week, and would love to give you a guided tour of the ship. It'll help him get rid of the pain he's having, and you get to see an ISD from the inside. Think about it, please."

IC, before flight to Yavin:

Lance went to the bridge to send a message to the Empress, and was met with static and the sound of two lightsabers. He cut the comm and ran down to the guest room, the door forcing itself open. "You are headed back to the Empress, NOW." His robotic arm opened, expelling his third lightsaber. (OOC: A spare, in case it is needed by a friend.) He tossed the weapon to Jasmine, and gave some orders. "When this ship arrives, you will head down and help the Admiral in any way necessary to ensure that he and the Empress do not come to harm. Undestood?"

OOC:Knight, sorry I took so long in answering, but yes you can control Skywalker and anyone else you need to on Yavin IV.

 

Admiral let out a laugh and backed up a slight bit to block the attack. "You can beat Master Skywalker eh? Good for you," he slashed at the jedi's legs and spun around and sliced at the neck, "Well, so can i! He is no match for me." Sensing Jasmine coming back he mentally shrugged . That fool really thinks i'm that weak? He should know better.

OOC, to Elu: Mertroid is being sent there with my spare lightsaber, solely for the purpose of serving as a distraction.

IC:

The Avenger set down gently on the lush forest moon of Yavin IV, and the ramp opened, issuing forth a team of highly trained Imperial commando units. One squadron had flamethrowers, and the other had M4 rifles. The Jedi Temple stood tall in the distance.

Fire Team Alpha ran off to the east, ready to light the forest ablaze. Lance and Assault Team Omega went west, a plan being set in motion to capture Skywalker.

Lance entered the Temple with a smile on his face. As soon as he entered the building, he was met with Master Skywalker himself, the famous Jedi Master. The Jedi knew him by name already, though, which was quite a surprise. "Greetings, Lance," Luke said calmly. "What are you doing here?"

Lance quickly spoke the lie he had prepared, using the Force to make it seem like truth. "I have decided to leave the New Empire and help the galaxy to defeat it. In order to do that, I need your help. I wish to discuss the terms of my surrender."

At that time, the east forest went red with fires, setting the entire Temple into alarm. The entire building emptied, save for a small 5-man skeleton crew, no match whatsoever for the attack units soon to descend onto the base. Lance ran with the Jedi, summoning his new power to quench the fires with a strange blast of water that magically appeared above the flames.

The Jedi brought the troops with them as they returned, all of the Imperial soldiers in handcuffs. As soon as they returned, Lance turned on Master Skywalker, who had left the Solo children in the Temple. A fireball leapt to his fingertips. "Luke, surrender to the New Empire, or I will kill the children." There were several Jedi Knights in the main floor, but he knew beyond the shadow of a doubt that he was faster than any of them, and could have the fireball in their hearts before anyone got to him.

Luke looked horribly upset by this, and with a sad resignation, he gave in. He was escorted to the [i]Avenger[/i], and everyone else in the Temple was spared. [i]Mission accomplished,[/i] Lance thought to himself.

As soon as the YT-1300 hit hyperdrive, Lance walked into the recreation area and spoke with Master Skywalker. "You do know that your life is on the line, don't you, Luke?"

"Yes, Lance," the Jedi Master said calmly, no anger in his voice. "Yours is as well. When the Republic learns of this, they will hunt you down."

"Your friends do not scare me, Jedi." Lance was slightly angered, but he had been ever since his girlfriend Samantha had been killed 13 years ago. (OOC: Epiphany arrives soon. ]:))

Luke sensed the angry Corellian's thoughts, and tried as best he could to ease the pain. "Lance, I'm sure she's in a happy place right now."

"Did I ask you for your opinion on that matter?" He was about to reach for his lightsaber, but relented. "She died serving our home. I only wish I could have gone with her."

Luke seemed distressed by this, but had learned how to deal with such comments in his long time in the galaxy. "Would she have wanted that? Further, would she have wanted you to join this Empire?"

Lance grew cold all of a sudden. "This conversation is over, Skywalker!" He then walked out, rage flowing off of him. He heard Luke's words as he left, the message ringing in his mind: [i]"Think about it."[/i]

The [i]Avenger[/i] pulled into the parking lot near the Empress' office, and Lance stepped out, Master Skywalker beside him in handcuffs. Much like it was on the Second Death Star, Luke didn't struggle against the bindings.

Lance walked into the office, and noticed the Admiral and a Republic Jedi fighting. "Not a great time to arrive, is it?" [i]What is keeping my ship so long in arriving?[/i] he asked himself. He summoned his powers to put a shield up around the Empress, and then again used them to drag her out of the office and out of harm's way. (OOC: Trying to imp

 

Reana struggled against the Force bubble around her. "How dare you drag me out like I'm just some child who didn't listen to their mother!" She was breathing heavily, partly out of anger for being dragged and partly out of relief from getting out of that room alive. She stared at Lance, wild-eyed, then began to notice Skywalker. She smirked. "Skywalker...won't you join me in a holding cell?" She patted Lance's arm. "Good Job."

IC:

"So, who's the fool now, ma'am? My mission is finished, and you have what you asked for. All that's left is the apprehension/death of that Republic 'spy', and we are finished with this day's work." Lance indicated the woman in the office when he mentioned the spy. He looke at her at that time, and his thoughts turned cold. I really doubt she'll last through the next ten minutes unless a miracle happens in her favor. He let that thought dangle in the Force, knowing both combatants would pick it up. Despite the fact that Admiral needed no boosts to his ego, Lance was hoping that this comment would severely weaken the morale of Admiral's opponent, just so he could see what Admiral would do to the woman.

I intercepted Admirals blade to the neck and slashed downwards at his wrist knocking his lightsaber out of his hand. "Your overconfidence is your weakness." I said as I pointed my saber at his throat.

IC: Admiral stood his ground, " It seems i'm not alone in that category..." he grinned and did a force push sending the jedi backwards. Using the force he called his saber to his hand and ignited it once again, "Do not be caught off guard, the result will be fatal." Admiral grinned menacingly and took an offensive stance, then slashed at the jedi's waist.
