Actually, if you look closely at pic number two, laserbeak is in there. ;)

Just out of curiosity, who do you think would win that Devastator v. Superion fight?

EDIT: Oh, and Darth Rain, GI-Joe already has a few new comics out. I believe Image is publishing, but I'm not 100% certain. I've read the first two. Good stuff so far.

Reign, there is a new Joe comic out, done by Devil's Due, and published by Image.

    It's pretty good.

My first toy was Thundercracker, the blue F-15.

Ah; A model and a toy in one...

I heard that Hasbro only put the god awful "Robots on disguise" show on the air to renew fan interest in a "vehicle" based robot.

From what I understand, their only using that show as a means of putting something better together, and rumors suggest its of G1 origin.

This could be a wonderful hint...

    Sweet.

Superion was a wuss. He couldn't take an insecticon in a cornfield.

They're not taking off were the comics left off at all. This is a Generation 1 series, so it takes place pre-Unicron, pre-Rodimus Prime, when the Transformers were stranded on Earth.

There's a second series, tentaviely called 'Armada' that is going to start in the summer/fall that will go with continuity. Mind you, this continuity is supposedly going to include Beast Wars, Beast Machines and the current Robots in Desguise series, the Japanese series, and combine the original cartoon and comic continuity. Kind of like the DC Crisis on Infinite Earth's storyline.

Devastator was pretty tough at times.

Remember in the movie, he withstood Autobot City's defenses, the attack of the Dinobots, then broke the City's defenses.

But - by looking in the background of the first comic cover - you can clearly see that Omega Supreme would whip both their cans.

    This "Armada" concept sounds interesting.

I`d just prefer a pick up of the original G1 Series...

Ironic really, they jumped to 2005 in 1986, and now in 2003 they`d jump to 1987...

    Madness I say!

    To quote Omega Supreme;

    "Mystery before us. Cigarette imminent..."
