That will be an AWESOME week, with the true soundtrack released just a week prior on Oct.9!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

There is a special metal tin dvd exclusive that future shop is offering haven't heard what best buy or wal-mart are doing. Let's hope we get the animated movie of the prequel comic with either of these as that's what wal-mart in the US is offering as an exclusive.

 

When is this out on Imax? Isn't it this month?

Where did you hear it was an exclusive to the US? I really HOPE they bring it up to Canada.... otherwise me thinks Ryan and I may need to make a special US trip haha

 

Hell yeah if that doesn't make it up here it's off to america to grab this bad boy. Has there been any other special offers anyone has heard of other then the collectors tin at future shop?.

 

The signage is up at Chinook for the IMAX feature, starting next Friday - can't wait!!!!

Extra footage - has anyone heard anything about what it might be? I just heard that it's Optimus taking out Barricade (yes!)

 

I'll be there opening night if my work schedule doesn't interfere.

 

This is certainly something I would be interested in attending... anyone know if it's IMAX 3-D?

 

Just regular IMAX and I heard the footage isen't that long maybe only 5 minutes but has something to do with Barricade so here's hoping. When are tickets on sale for the IMAX?.

 

Just checked online and tickets have not gone on sale yet. Usually tickets go on sale the Wednesday before the movie releases.

No - it will not be in 3-D. But it will be spectacular!

 

Man not sure if I can see it on opening night as I will have to attend my brother in-laws wedding. I'll keep everyone posted if we do a group viewing.

SO did anybody go to the imax yet. What is the new footage? And was it even better on a huge screen?

 

I'm planning on going this Wednesday afternoon.

 

Saw TransFormers in IMAX on Saturday night. And as much as I LOVE the movie, I don't think it's worth the extra money to see it in IMAX.

Although the picture quality is incredibly crisp and beautiful to watch....
They didn't upgrade the sound so it doesn't utilize all 40 speakers in the IMAX theatre (sounds just like a regular theatre) and the extra footage is crap. Just a few extra scenes involving the human cast and throw-away scenes at that. Nothing extra involving the Autobots or Decepticons - which is such a shame. The extra stuff adds nothing to the movie, and I can't understand why they'd include it.
