Does anyone else have the 2006 DVDs? Sometimes (not always) the subtitles translating alien languages don't show up. Anyone else have this issue?

I thought they'd have been "hard subbed", put over the actual film.

I think it depends on your machine. A DVD player that I used to own back then, was wonky when it came to subtitles. On movies like a "Star Wars" film, it wouldn't translate for Jabba and Greedo. But on certain DVD's, it would start the film with the subtitles turned on. Mainly Warner Brothers DVD's. So you might want to see about checking your subtitles on your DVD player and see what happens if you turn it on, when it comes to Jabba and Greedo.

    Also Anakin and Sebulba :p
I'm playing DVDs on a Bluray player, so yeah, maybe it is the machine.

There\s not an option in the menus for translation subtitles, it's all or nothing.

There's options on the DVD's themselves to turn them on and off.

Where? I've got the Saga Blu-Rays and I get no alien subtitles at all. The only way I can get them is to turn on ALL subtitles, so I have to look at all of the English subtitles just to see the few alien subtitles. Very annoying!!
