I was just reading about the Traveling Vader that was started by the Boston FF. Does anyone know when it should be arriving in the Buffalo/Rochester/Syracuse area? I think instead of mailing it to each other we should meet-up in person. For example, once Buffalo receives him we should meet up with them half-way between Rochester & Buffalo to "pass the Vader". Likewise when it's time to hand him off to Syracuse we should meet them half way. Some might think it's cheating because only Syracuse has to pay postage (of course I'm sure that could be split in thirds) to pass him on to Providence - but I think it would be a lot more fun to meet up with some of our FF neighbors in person. And, probably a more important question is - where will he be when CIII roles around. Whoever has him should make sure he gets brought along to CIII. ~Doc_Bev
That was our plan from the time the list came out. At this pace, someone from Buffalo or Rochester may be the one travelling with Vader to CIII.
