What are we going to do with him? *Shakes Head*

Now to let everyone Down Under realize what we learned on Friday (before we broke for a 3 day Holiday).

    My students learned about

    (1) How GEORGOUS it is in Southern Australia!

    (2) Forced Perspective Photography! (The pic of Yoda on the beach at Sunset (or was that Sunrise.) Lots of fun using the iPhone to show the kids how it all works. (Plus.. from me...BEAUTIFUL SHOT!!! BREATHTAKING!!)

    (3) So THAT'S what an Emu looks like!!! LOL (Yes, guys, they really do exist!!!)

    (4) That life is completely unfair when we had foggy, "can't see across the school yard foggy" AND freezing cold!!! But Down Under it is nice, warm, and people get to go to the BEACH!!!! ROFL

    Thanks again, Mates!!!

[face_blush] ohh, thankyou for the kind comments on our state.

The little master relunctabtly left today on his way to Queensland, in 2-3 days he should arrive there. I'm sure that they'll show him a good time. He had a great time in South Australia & South Australia had a great time with MasterYoda.

Thankyou for giving us the opportunity to spend some time with him :D

Hmm, I wonder if Yoda will still be in Queensland when I'm there in a couple of weeks! He might be happy to see a familiar face!

But my kids... I've got students that have never been more than 3 miles from their home. Maybe one or two that have been out of the area. So they were '' WHAT IS THAT THING?" LOL

Thanks for taking care of the Little Master. Sorry he got to be so rowdy while looking at the girls on the beach... Ya know... at his age, he's earned the right! :D

Thanks again for the pics!!! We are especially enjoying that group shot on the beach, as we have ANOTHER cold, miserable, rainy day here!

Queensland has welcomed Master Yoda with a trip to a BBQ Steakhouse. Pics to come.

    On his Queensland Itinery:

    - Visiting "Surfer's Paradise", the main suburb of the Gold Coast (Where the Champ Car/Indy Cars race).
    - Having more trouble[edit- fun!!] on an Aussie beach - I'll try to keep the Meter Maids off him.
    - Visiting Australia Zoo, the home of the late Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin.
    - Visiting the "Ettamogah Pub", a comical, stereotyped, but traditional Aussie Pub.
    - Taking in a "Bar Wars", a pub crawl in Brisbane City (hopefully with the visiting Jedi_Nat, a recent host of Yoda's from Western Australia - the one who took him to the Cricket).

Yoda's stay is based in South-East Queensland, where the majority of the population is. It's a very large state, the 2nd largest in Australia behind Western Australia. The distance from LA to Seattle is 1135 miles by car, the distance from the south border of Queensland to the north point of Queensland is over 1650 miles by car!

I'm glad to report that he's not met any Drop-Bears, yet. Must be the Vegemite he's enjoying.

Oh no! Not a Ford! I'll have a pic of him in a Holden to post, too!
(In Australia, there are fans of the big sporty V8's made by either Ford or it's General Motors rival, Holden.

    More updates to come.

*Raises Hand* I DO!!!!!! And, actually had Miana bring me some back!! There now you know ONE person not born in Australia that truly enjoys Vegemite. ;) :D

Actually was first intoduced to it when Koala Blue was down on Melrose in LA. (Also got hooked on those chocolate Koala bears with the caramel inside. LOL) This was during my "Men At Work" die-hard fan days.. (ok.. STILL a die-hard "Men at Work" fan."

Hey also thanks for taking him over to the zoo. If there is ANY way to get pics with him and Terry and the kids, would really appreciate it. Especially since we have pics of him with so many other famous people!

    THANKS!!
