Could someone PM me the specific location of where we are gathering to carpool for this Saturday's Trench Run? I need to know specifically in "plain English" since I do not know how to translate otherwise.

    Thanks!

So, the person working tonight just decided they couldn't.

I get to go in, with 2 hours of sleep, to close the station @ 1130pm.

    Yay.

    Dang, TJ. That is rough.

Another successful Trench Run, and fun was had by all. Sounds like everyone got some real bargains.

Sounds like things eventually did work out. I got a couple of calls during my lunch break from people wondering how to get in contact with other rogues. By the time I got the messages it was too late. Sorry guys.

Yes, we had a great time! Every meeting / event I get to know a little more about someone in the group. It was really great being able to ride with Steven, and lunch was a lot of fun with TJ and Chris. (Quite amusing!) I can even claim to have learned something today -- I am now much more Star Trek saavy than I once was! Thanks to everyone for making my husband feel so comfortable and welcome. He loves the movies, but I know he feels like because he can't spout off some of the useless trivia that I can, that maybe he's not "worthy" to be part of the group. He had a blast today though, and even asked to read my newest Insider this afternoon! Maybe he is not TOO old to begin the training...(Even tho' we may be in out "late 30's or early 40's," eh, TJ? Thanks again for that really uplifting comment, I came home and made sure I used some of my WRINKLE cream.) I look forward to seeing everyone again soon.

Nasus, we missed you and Boba today. I'm glad Marcus could make it. We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Your family will be in our prayers, and look forward to seeing you at the next event.

    Very fun trip all.

Jedidoria, I also had a good time sitting at the table with you, your husband, and TJ.

Aunt Beru, eventhough I did not have any as I had already maxed out on carbs with my breakfast buddies from McDonalds, thanks for thinking about us by buying the donuts.

    See everyone soon!

    Bleh. [face_sick]

Two hours of sleep in the last 24, a six hour shift by myself, and then the floor cleaners showing up at the very last minute and sending me scrambling to pull displays/stuff off the floors and then killing my already slaughtered brain cells with toxic fumes. Pardon me while I crawl into a hole and die.

Oh and did I mention I'm supposed to be back at 945am on sunday?

Excellent Trench Run everyone! But first I must say there are five very important Rogues who were scheduled for this mission but were unable to make it due to certain circumstanes beyond their control and I wouldn't be a good leader if I didn't recognize them first.

    Rogue 3[image=http://swanb.net/SVRF/images/th_button.jpg]
    Rogue 5[image=http://swanb.net/SVRF/images/rogue5_button.jpg]

    Rogue 13 [ID pic pending]

    Rogue 17[image=http://swanb.net/SVRF/images/av_button.jpg]
    Rogue 26[image=http://swanb.net/SVRF/images/rogue26_button.jpg]

You all were sorrily missed. Next time (which will not be that far off in the distance)

As for the day ... "It will be a day long remembered" ;) The only draw back was the slow speed the troop transports were forced to maintain because of a certain Rogue coughroguetwelvecough [face_whistling] ;) LOL The business, "Books for the Barrios" was not hard to find. And we arrived in our window of sceduled time. All the employees were very nice and very helpful. And the prices were amazing. The selection was not as big as "Alpha Base - Endor" but still some of the stuff were rare, and the prices were very VERY good. As a collector it is always nice to find "Kenner" products now. I believe it is worth a trip back to Books for the Barrios. I asked for permission to advertise them to other Star Wars groups and I was given permission to do so. So, Rogue 3, if you could start mentioning this to the 501st, that would be great, and I will start talking with Matt at SFFF as well. They do excellent work and are in jeopardy of closing down due to funding, so we need to try and help them as much as we can. The SVRF did our part by spending a grand total of $857.00 on Star Wars Saturday. ;) GREAT JOB!!!

Also, kudos to Rogue 26 for getting the Trench Run t-shirts in such short notice. They are perfect! We looked good! ;)

We have new Rogues as well. Jedidoria, tell Carlos he is more than welcome to the Rogues, and tell him, he fits in perfect with all of us, and I expect to see him start posting soon. ;)

It was a great day everyone!! And I look forward to the next Trench Run and many more events and meetings!

Fantastic report, Rogue Leader. Rogue coughroguetwelvecough was happy we had a good outing and back in one piece. [face_whistling]

BTW - that was Rogue 13 who did not make the trip. Unfortunately, she was, and still is, sick. She was very happy with the bounty that Rogues 12 and 25 arrived at home base with though.

I'll make sure the Imps know of our good deeds and that they are always more than welcome to join in the giving. We are always looking for good causes. Our most recent donations went to Food for Families. Grand total of $500. :D
