    story

let's all hope Bulger doesn't get hurt... because if Green plays again, I'm sure he'll die this time.

I wonder if St. Louis has a high number of quality hospitals, and that was his deciding factor?

personally i don't see why green doesn't just retire... he just can't handle it anymore. steve youngish situation i think, although young could still play.

Yeah, I agree with the previous posters. I sincerely doubt that Trent Green will survive the whole season without getting hurt in some capacity. I wish him the best, but his body might not like this in about 30 years.

well to be fair, he IS just a backup... so he might not even play.

Ha! They might as well put him on the cover of Madden 09, because Green is going to end up injured some way or another, even if it's just a splinter in his butt from sitting on the bench. That guy is as lucky as a black cat.

Isn't it kind of ironic that he's going back to where everything kinda started going wrong? (He was the Ram's QB that got injured when Warner took over during their Super Bowl winning run was he not?)

    ...

you're right. The Arena should turn into the JCC sports threads.

All information should go into whatever official thread there is for that sport.

5 or 6 threads is enough to keep this forum going, anything else is just overkill.

So should I start a thread about Fitzgerald restructuring his deal with the Cards?

In other news, Warrick Dunn is back at Tampa. It's the circle of life, or something like that.

if you think people are interested, then yes.

in this case, I knew people would be interested, so I posted it.

    No need to whine.

I've always liked Dunn. Great player, great guy. Hopefully they won't steal his touchdowns this go-round.
