Amph Trivia Contest -- congratulations for Jairen!!

Raven and I are going to be hosting a trivia contest based on Herman Snerd's Fanfic trivia contest. There will be ten questions in each of three catagories: Fantasy books, sci-fi books, and comics.

You may play by yourself or with one other person. To sign up, please PM NYCitygurl. Sign-ups end at 11:59 board time on July 27. You can still sign up after the game starts, but you'll automatically lose one point. The contest will start on July 28 and end at 11:59 board time on August 10.

As usual, the prize is colors.


Questions are here Each question is worth one point. All of the answers must be PMed to NYCitygurl no laster than 11:59 board time on August 10. If you haven't signed up, you can still play; however, it will cost you a point.

Some of these questions can be googled, and some can be found around here. You can get answers however you want. Trading with other players if fine; just be warned, no one you ask is required to give the correct answer If you PM anyone (thread hosts or participants) you are required to tell them that you're asking because of a question in the game and that if they feel evil, they don't have to answer.

so are there the usual game bans if you get a question wrong or are you just eliminated? also when you say it'll cover several categories like Comics, etc. will the questions be on a specific Comic or Novel or will it be spread out?

 

I was refering to the dates, the contest ending before it even started.

 

Ex: Yeah, figured on that.

Conor: No game bans. There are 30 questions, and participants have to answer as many as they can and PM it to me at the end of the game. The person or team with the most correct will win.

Questions are pretty specific. Some, at least, can be found by Google or by searching through the threads in here. Some you may have to get help or read comics and books for. I seriously doubt that anyone is going to answer thme all correctly.

 

You only have until the 27th to sign up for this. The game will star the 28th. If you wish to sign up late, it will cost you a point (all questions are worth one point).

I think I knew one answer...

 

At least some of the answers can be found in threads around here. Others can be Googled. Some just require reading part or all of the books. I don't expect anyone to get a perfect. In fact, I'll be worried if you do

 

OK, I think I've got the comics section done and dusted. But the book sections are really hard. I've got maybe 4 out of the 20!

 

I'll take that as a compliment
