    "We count thirty Rebel ships..."

and the virus was the work of Ysanne Isard and Evir Derricote.

Here's a new pair of ANH film questions (choose either to answer, and ask yer own):

What number cell was "this Princess of yours" in on the Death Star?

What is the number-letter designation of the Stormtrooper who was not at his post near the Falcon, on the Death Star, in ANH?

Bonus to show off with: That Stormie I just mentioned has a different designation in the novel of ANH - what is it?

One right - it was TK421, so ask away.

(cell 2187 was Leia's, I think, and in the book, the stormtrooper was THX-1138.)

Eep! See, whenever I'm in doubt, I just answer with the obvious #- 1138. :)

    Question.. hmm.. okay!
    *easy*
What is the name of the assassin (sp?) droid that is in ESB?

It was IG-88 and to be more specific it was IG-88B. The "B" denotes a clone of the original. The original (IG-88A) once activated killed its creators and copied its memory into three other identical IG units. The one we see in ESB is the "B"which was destroyed by Boba Fett in Cloud City. "C" was also destroyed by Fett at Tatooine. Supposedly Dash Rendar killed "D" at Ord Mantell. "A" had by this point already taken over the droid factories of Mechis III and had transfered his "consciousness" into an identical battle station computer that he managed to have installed in the second Death Star. Had it not been for Wedge and Lando, IG-88 could have been the ruler of the galaxy.

Go here for the official source.

    IG-88's story

    Okay, my question is:

    Who or what is Bubo?

An Imperial Frog-Dog in Jabba's Palace, who plotted to kill Jabba. After Jabba's Death, the poor ugly chained thing was made into a B'Omarr Monk. That's EU, but in the film ROTJ, he's just a critter chained at the door to the throneroom which keeps lunging at visitors.

Now, who or what is Amanaman?

Bonus - how many different Amanaman action figures have been made?

EDIT: for an easier question, just in case that one is too obscure:

Name the chief and the shaman of the Ewok tribe seen in ROTJ.

I love the ewoks, so I'll answer this one. The shaman is none other than Master Logray (although there has been some debate because in the cartoon, Teebo is a practicing shaman and some argue that he was the one in ROTJ, but if you refer to the older guy, it is indeed Master Logray) and the chief is Chief Chirpa. Ok, my question now...hmm...oh, i think Amanana or whatever is an Amzati, assassin type dude that has funny things coming out of his cheeks (sacs) though I may be thinking of someone totally different.

Ok, my question: There are several names that Han Solo uses to name Threepio throught all the SW universe...name the ones from the movie.

Bonus- Name as many as you can (there are quite a few of them).

I'm just gonna take this, so as not to let it gather too much dust. JediJasen must have lost interest.

Here's some new questions (answer any one and ask your own):

    1. What kind of stick does Yoda carry as a cane?
    2. What kind of stick does a Tusken Raider carry as a weapon?

Bonus: What kind of stick did the Noghri attack Luke with in the novel Heir to the Empire?

Greetings! Look, we are participating in this fantastical SW trivia extravaganza!

    Answers:

    2. A gaderffii. More commonly known as a gaffi stick.

    Questions:
1.) Who played Darth Vader in the Radio Dramas?
2.) What is the full name of Obi-Wan's best friend as a child?

Bonus: What Star Wars actors daughter loved R2D2 to the extreme that they cried every night because he wasn't there.

I'm gonna try to clean up some disregarded bonuses of the past:

Amanmanan (sp?) is the tall, yellow and green bounty hunter in Jabba's Palace. He carries skulls of his scores on his spear thingy.

I think there have been 2 action figures of him (one old, one new).

I also think the Noghri used a Stokli spray stick (sp) on Luke.

Still Wonk_Ay's questiongs, just my two bits.

    Obi-Wan's friend is Bant Eerin.

Brock Peters played vader in the radio drama. Who can forget his deep, passionate voice?

    Luke: "I can jump!"
Vader (Peters): IS THAT THE WISDOM OF A JEDI?!

New questions (answer any one of the three):

    1. Who played Han Solo and Princess Leia in the radio shows?

    2. Name three original cast members of the films who also did the voices of their characters in the radio dramas.

    3. Who wrote all three SW trilogy radio drama scripts?

    I can't resist!

    1. Perry King was Han Solo, no clue who Leia was.

    2. The three actors were Mark Hamill, Tony Daniels, and Billy Dee.

    3. Brian Daley!

Ok, here's my first batch of questions in a while. These commemmorate the upcoming Battle of Yavin that me and ben_ethus are going play in the CCG world.

    Padawan Level:
Name the type of TIE that Darth Vader flew in the Battle of Yavin.

    Knight Level:
Name four members of Red Squadron.

    Master Level:
Explain why there are two Wedge's in ANH, and name the actor who played "fake Wedge".

For the record... You only have to answer one question to then post another question. If you can only asnswer the easy question, fine.

From here on be sure that if you ask a question (especially the HARD ones) have your reference ready. You must give where you got the info from clearly. This is only to keep people honest. (not that you're not)

I will admit that some of the questions have gone over my head and I would like to know where this information is being disseminated from.

If you say that you read it somewhere but can't remember then please don't post that question.

(To take a quote, "I want proof not leads.")

Let's try and keep this simple so everyone can play. Really you are supposed to ask only ONE question.

Darth Dahc, you are close enough to be right. He is actually flying a TIE Advanced x1, which was the inspiration for the famous bent-wing Interceptors.

Brenden, I will watch the boards and post the answers to the other two if no one else knows.

    Shewski's Knight level question:
    Wedge (red 2)
    Biggs (red 3)
    Luke (red 5)
    Porkins (red 6)

I know why fake wedge was there, but I don't know who played him, so...yeah...I'll just skip that one...

    Chad's questions:

    1. The Modal Nodes are lead by Figrin D'an who plays the kloo horn and the gasan string drum.
    2. Prehensile tentacles
    3. "Doen't look like we have much of a choice, but I'll tell him."

    My questions:

    1. What career did George Lucas originally plan on having and what made him give it up?

    2. Who is the drummer for the Max Rebo band and what species is he?

Well, as for the members of Red Squadron, you have Red 5, Red 2, Red 11...I'm just kidding. If you mean the members from just Star Wars, you have Biggs, Porkins, Wedge and Luke and several others who's names escape me at this time.

The reason there were 2 Wedges is that I believe that Dennis Lawson, the guy that is Wedge Antilles was sick on the day they did that scene in the command center but I have to double check my research to find out who the other actor was.

A Twi Lek's head tail is called a Leiku (probably misspelled). Luke's first line in Star Wars is "Doesn't look like we have much of a choice but i'll remind him" (does anyone know what the first line from the book is?).

I can't think of the band leader's name is right now, so someone else can still answer that one.

So, who can name the band in Jabba's Palace and 2 members of it?

Bonus: What brand of fighter is an X-wing? (who makes it in other words)

Sure does, especially when our trivia questions are so similar. That is weird....

Yeah, Denis Lawson wasn't there when they shot the Yavin planning scene and they used a different actor and a voice over. Then they went and spelled his name wrong in the credits. Dennis instead of Denis. Therefore, fake wedge was played by Dennis Lawson and real wedge was played by Denis Lawson! Or not...
