this post isn't to answer the above question, its to acknowledge that I left out someone in the lightsaber question (as was recently pointed out to me) Artoo also handled the greensaber (ROTJ) and it was an imp officer not a trooper that handed the saber to Vader. Oppps.

The centaur girl was Lusa. Wedge was red two.

    Here's another pair...

    1. Who said, "Negola Dewagi Wooldugger"?
    (Hope the spelling is right!)

    2. How many brothers and sisters does Jaxxon the Rocket-ridin' rabbit have, according to Jax himself?

Anakin Solo was her first real friend, and the Academy was on Yavin 4.

    Here are a few more:

    1. Who was Vergere's master?

    2. Who came in second place in the Boonta Eve Classic that was won by Anakin?

    3. Besides Count Dooku, who else has been confirmed as a former padawan of Yoda?

Come on, we all know that he would have won the pod race if he would have gotten the thing going.

I can Answer 2 questions: 1. Vergere's master Luminara Unduli, and 2. Sebulba owns anakins pod.

Who Helped Boba Fett escape Tattoine upon his escape from the Sarlac pit?

You mean between ANH and ESB for the bounty hunter question? I'm thinking it was on Ord Mantell? I dunno, I'm not too good with trivia... [face_plain]

OK, well, if I'm right then here are my questions.

    1. What two things influenced the conceptual drawing of Theed palace?
    2. Who was originally supposed to play Wicket and why didn't they?

Theed was based on the Palace of the Bourbon Kings in Caserta, but also influenced by the Blue Mosque of Istanbul and the Marin County Civic Center.

Warwick Davis was promoted from background Ewok to Wicket when Actor Kenny Baker was ill on an important day of filming.

Here's another pair that got ignored above:

    1. Who said, "Negola Dewaghi Wooldugger"?

    2. How many brothers and sisters does Jaxxon the Rocket-ridin' rabbit have, according to Jax himself?

    UP.

Surely, there is someone who can answer these questions. The first answer may be found in the Star Wars Ep. 4 script. The second, in early Marvel comics.

For me, there is trivia, and then there is minutae. =)

I don't care so much about the questions, I just would like the game to continue. Let my questions slide then, and someone post another one that is easier.

Call it minutia if you want, but it's not qite fair to do so. I thought at least one of them, the script quote one, was on the same difficulty level with the questions that have been asked so far. The Walrus Man, Ponda Baba said that line. I also thought it was fair to ask one from the just-republished Marvel comics.

anyway...take it away, whoever is next...

OK, since no one answered MetalliJedi's question about Boda and the Sarlac pit I'll answer that. Dengar helped him after he escaped.

    Here's my question:

"There's always a bigger fish." What is that bigger fish called?

It was the Sando Aqua Monster (Technically it's not a fish)
The second "fish" that chases the Bongo is a colo claw. If you look carefully in the widescreen DVD you can even see baby colo claw "crawling" up the walls of the caves.

    Okay my questions.

Challenge: (not really that tough but here goes) Who was Leia's assistant who had an incredible memory (it was said this character could remember everything in their life)

Easy: What was the working title for Return of the Jedi while it was being filmed as to throw off would be media and fans. (HINT: it doesn't start with REVENGE)

Funny enough, it;s the easy one I dont know..

the other one, the answer is Winter, who ended up marrying Tycho Celchu.

Also, since nobody tried answering it, the question about "who else was confirmed as being Yoda's apprentice" was Master Ikrit.

Oooh I know the easy one!

It was being filmed under the name Blue Harvest with some cheesy subtitle like "a new dimension of horror"

Brenden, I hope you didnt take offense to my previous post! I check into this post once in a while and I am just amazed by the depth of infomation everyone has on SW. Sometimes, it is SCARY =) I guess the lesson is one person's minutae is another's trivia =)

    I'll give a whack at a question:

    Source: ESB Radio Drama/ANH

Trace the "geneology" of Rogue Squadron, naming the commander and squadron name (ANH-ESB)

Red Leader from battle of Yavin was replaced by Com. Narra AKA Boss who lost his life near Derra IV. Luke replaced him ~ Luke was in charge when they became "THE Rogue squadron". Then came Wedge, and that's bout as far as we know.

    Now for our questions:

1st - a fun question: What 2 SW characters sit atop of our computer?

hint: they are our 2 fav's

2nd: What document is the ancient foundation that the old Republic was founded on?

I'm guessing that Qui-Gon and Vader sit on top of Mr. and Mrs. Jedi_1966's computer. I'm positive about the Qui-Gon (I was full of envy over the stuffed toy Qui) and since J-66 has Anakin/Vader tattoos it seems reasonable that Vader is the other one . . .

    But I won't post a question until I get confirmation :D

I think by the second question you mean "Journal of the Whills."

(If I'm wrong, I hope the answer gets posted - I searched my books for any other possible answer and came up dry.)

    Here's a couple more:

    1. What was the original working title of Episode I?

    2. In what year did the first Star Wars get "Episode IV A New Hope" added to the title as shown on screen in the movie theaters? It wasn't 1977.

I have been known to make mistakes...

    ...from time to time.

So what is the ancient document upon which the Republic was founded, and what is the source that mentions it?

Though I was wrong, the two questions I posted are still pretty decent ones. Any takers?

O.k. it's the Galactic Constitution,as mentioned in Dark Empire.
The source it was taken from (besides DE)was
"A Guide to the SW Universe"-2nd ed.
and yes,Brandon your questions are well done.
