Ok, if they don't intend for you to duel, then why do they put a DEMONSTRATION of dueling coreography to advertise their sabers???? Click the link! Two guys go at banging the crap out of 'em! And I can't?? Because we break one, they're all of a sudden not for dueling?? Something is Bass Ackwards here!

 

it just means that one is pose to play nicely with them..kinda like pretend to pretend.

 

Still, all in all, for what they're made of they took a good beating.

I guess so. It is a good reason to practice the stage combat though. I know I need some better control, and better reflexes... I just don't want to be on the recieving end of one of those blows.

how hard were you dueling. I got one of the first sabers and I can asure you that my son has beten everything he can think of and still operational.

 

Oh, we were going full force pretty much. I think it was the force of both of us that did it in.. I know that I've beaten the crap out of mine too, and until then, I've never even seen one really get scratched...

And my leg is fine, heh... I do need to learn to block lower.

 

They were really whalling on the things. So, not intended for actual combat? Man, what's good about having a light saber if you can cut some one in half with it.
